the Studger talk is still rumbling around - this time with a quote...
"We have had dialogue," said Coyle. "But when you come into a club, you have got to look at the whole picture and not make pre-judgements. I have told him to settle in and have a look and then we will have a chat.

Besides, isn't that quote to do with DazPrats?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

here's the SkySpurts story...
Bolton manager Owen Coyle hopes his friendship with new Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas will help him strike a deal to bring Daniel Sturridge back to the club.
Coyle became friends with Villas-Boas after the pair took their pro-licence coaching course together and he is ready to ask the Portuguese if he will loan out Sturridge next season.
Sturridge impressed during a loan spell at the Reebok Stadium last season, scoring eight goals in 12 Premier League appearances.
Coyle has previously confirmed his desire to bring the England Under 21 star back to the club and he is ready to ask Villas-Boas if he would allow to him leave Stamford Bridge on a temporary basis.
Talks
"We have had dialogue," said Coyle. "But when you come into a club, you have got to look at the whole picture and not make pre-judgements. I have told him to settle in and have a look and then we will have a chat.
"He [Villas-Boas] is a terrific lad, I got on very well with him.
"We did our Pro Licence together for the best part of two years. We all took to him, he is a likeable guy and very humble.
"Daniel did very well for us last season. We'll have to wait and see whether anything happens."

WhoHines on Bolton menu
Trotters keen on Boro stopper
Last Updated: July 6, 2011 9:54pm
Skysports.com understands that Bolton Wanderers are ready to make a move for Middlesbrough's Seb Hines.
Trotters chief Owen Coyle is seemingly a big fan of the North East club's academy system.
The Bolton boss swooped for David Wheater in January and is also a confirmed fan of Rhys Williams.
Now he is also lining up a potential deal for Hines, who emerged as a first-team regular under Tony Mowbray last term.
Hines is currently recovering from three operations in the summer, having undergone surgery on a broken jaw and an ankle injury, but he is expected to be fit for the start of the new season.

I think we should just close down this thread now.
Its evident that nowt is happening, or certainly nowt is happening imminently. They go to America on Sunday. I'd be willing to bet we're talking August before owt else significant happens. And that doesn't just go for us, it seems a lot of the premiership clubs are moving at snails pace.
In the meantime Sunderland are busy buying up every single average overpriced candidate they can find.
Transfer windows are officially shite. Lets revert to the proper system where you could buy up until March.

Thats the spirit!
Accept your fate and rejoice in the futility of it all.

Yeah lets just shut everything down !
Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
I don't want to shut this thread down, it's transfer rumours. It's not transfer done deals. We get separate threads for them

Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
20 premiership clubs, probably an average of 2 forums per club. Thats 40 forums, each one will have a transfer window discussion. In each case its probably the most popular thread on the forum. Ours has 2757 posts. And its probably one of the shorter ones.
If we estimate that there is an average of 3000 posts per thread thats roughly 120000 posts on the transfer window, discussing a mere handful of players who have actually moved (apart from Sunderland of course).
Depressing!

I think getting up in the morning depresses you, so I'll sidestep the hyperbole.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
