Indeed, but had we carried on at just over a point per game as we were under the previous Manager, we'd now be sat on 22 points and in 20th, 2 points above the drop...

So that's +2 in my book. :-)
So by your logic, we might as well have stuck with Jimmy Phillips.

Quite possibly. But getting shut of Coyle was important too.

Well I guess of all the people I thought we might possibly appoint, McCarthy was much nearer the top of that list than Freedman. Time will tell.

I've seen zat do some crazy stuff on a football pitch but that o.g. was like he meant to score, directing it into the corner. I thought I mis-saw that and maybe the attacker scored but its down as an o.g. Has he tried doing that on our corners recently? Secret weapon?

Just seen the goals on SKY.

Some people being a bit hard on Knight. KD's header smacks into Knight's face. It could've gone anywhere.

Dreadful penalty from Eagles. He smacked it into the Keeper as much as the Keeper having saved it.

Worst fears confirmed on their equaliser. Ream absolutely dicked in both speed of thought and speed of foot. That man is an unbelievably poor footballer.

Question for the match-goers: I got the distinct impression from the commentary that the ref was again enjoying seeing the opposition kick shxt out of KD and happy to let them do it. How much truth in that? They reckon one blatant push in the back was a penalty but the ref was having none of it?

They may have a point but in the second half when we were playing well it didn't matter nearly as much. Second half we seemed to get rub of the green... albeit Kev did seem to get pulled up a lot.

if we'd held on to all the times we had a lead, we'd have 47pts and we'd be top...

Douglas says...
"I am very proud of that performance. I am excited about what we have to work with here.

"I understand people will be disappointed at some of the results but from a coach's point of view we keep putting in performances. Sometimes you don't get what you deserve but you just stick to your principles.

"We play on the front foot and we keep going. What we need to do now is change these draws into wins."
he's changed his tune! a few weeks ago he was saying that 46 out of 47 of our players were garbage...
