Davies looked completely out of puff after about 35 mins at Port Vale. I wouldn't have put him anywhere near match fit.

Medo and Spearing is fine, but not along with Pratley. And Cravies as a lone striker? I know the alternative is Beckford as a lone striker, which is probably just as bad, but dear me.

Nice to see none of the youngsters we got excited about at the end of last season have made the grade this season too. Wilkinson is only there to make up the numbers until he gets in his '3 attacking options.'

Still would like to know where Kellet has gone.

Almost time for any early optimism to be stripped away from us!

Craig Davies is the better choice as the 1 i think...but that midfield, limited. Playing for the 0-0.

Do you know what? I can't believe I'm moaning already. I said I wouldn't, but what can you do? Mavies was the only one explained away with an injury, so where is Hall? Vela?

He probably is Dibble but, I ... I just can't believe we haven't got our attack sorted before this game. We've already weakened ourselves.

Davies up front is probably the right call. Can't blame DF for that he has the options available to him and probably Beckford is more effective against tiring defenders off the bench rather than chasing the ball for the first hour....

Sloppy defending says the man. "Same old, same old" he claims. Long ball over the top and its 1-0 them.
