I think we need some comment from Bob anyhow. What with this being a) January and b) a transfer thread. We're heading up to half way through a) and seem to be rather short on anything in b).

WTF is going on?

I confidently predict this will be the best transfer thread seen on this site for some years. Patience my friends, patience.

You haven't a modicum of evidence to support that frankly ridiculous boast. :D

Transfers are about more than players coming in. We've got Medo and CYL about to depart and apparently some irons in the fire. Its a marathon not a sprint (Other football clichés are available)

Lennon is getting itchy and wants some action.

Things are going to happen.

Or end up fecking off at the end of the season because the club don't match his ambition.

I don't think he'll just feck off, as he must have had an idea of budget, but a decent offer may well tempt him at some point if he's frustrated. I think he likes it here though and he's young and not in a rush. fingers crossed

Surely the budget is what it is now? They can't have promised him shed loads of cash coz we'd not be allowed to spend it even if we wanted. There's only the issue of whether Eddie is prepared to stump up his extra amount.

I very much doubt Lennon will be as accommodating as the last bloke.

I can't see him staying past September unless there's a sudden injection of funds and I don't see that happening.

You heard it here first!

Probably because he's better and will have better offers. Most people follow the line of least resistance, its human nature. I don't think accommodation has much to do with it.

Chungy most likely out of the Asian Cup with a hairline fracture to his shin bone after a nasty tackle during the Oman game. Might not be able to leave this winter.
