At the fans forum Coyle said he hoped Holden would be back for October. Have to say it didn't sound the most confident prognosis you've ever heard.

There have been rumours going round the area that Holden may never play again. Not sure I quite believe that, but the fact is he was originally due back for the start of pre-season for training, then for the start of August. He's still rehabbing in the states, and quite a few months behind.

Coyle said he's sent him all his training gear and boots and a note to let him know how important he is and that we are all thinking of him. I got the impression that the feeling is that as well as a physical recovery, the club are worried whether mentally he will return right. Bit surprising if that's the case as Holden seems to be as positive as you can get!

Holden doesn't seem to be the type of player/person that will have any problems getting in the right mental state.

Hopefully Coyle just doesn't want to commit to anything because they don't want to rush him back after what happened last time.

Watching him flap about against West Brom at home in possibly the worst defensive performance by any Bolton player in the last 5 years doesn't fill me with confidence
I take all this back....

Somehow, he was even worse today. He's absolutely fvckin' dire. When's his contract up?!?!

We need to hold on to both Mavies and N'gog. The thought of having some money in the coffers for that clueless feck* to piss up against the wall isn't at all appealing.

Too many balls flashed in from the wing. Ricketts an Mears overrun. All too easy for Burnley players to cause a threat just gotta be sharper than Ream and Knight when they're on the back foot. Anything in front of Knight he dealt with well anything behind an he struggled.

Hendry Thomas is available on a free? Don't know how much fitness work he's done and he's definitely a Defensive Midfielder

Why let that wanker waste more money? Leave it for his successor.

Have we time before the window 'slams shut' to buy a new frigging manager?

To be fair, we aren't far off now.
We have a manager who thinks he's a frigging player.
