I sent that to Keveh earlier. He's probably up to his bollox right now sorting things out. Apologies to East Lower who got it in in plenty of time.

Was it our reserves that won 8-0 in la Liga? I'm confused.

Look, I'm even using a confused smiley from our strategically placed smilies options.

Having seen Almeria play, I'd be confident our ressies could give them a thrashing too.

It appears young williamson has denied the violent conduct charge....
An FA statement said: 'Newcastle United defender Mike Williamson has denied a charge of violent conduct.

'The charge relates to an incident involving Johan Elmander in his side's fixture with Bolton Wanderers on Saturday, 20 November.

'A Regulatory Commission will hear the charge on Wednesday, 24 November.'

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

but he was found guilty...
various news sources wrote: Newcastle defender Mike Williamson has been handed a three-match ban for violent conduct during Saturday's match against Bolton.

Williamson had denied the charge, which related to an incident involving Wanderers striker Johan Elmander in the 5-1 defeat at the Reebok Stadium.

A statement released by the FA read: "At an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing , Newcastle United defender Mike Williamson was given a three-match suspension for violent conduct."

Doesn't he get an extra 1 game ban for a frivolous appeal?

I hope he maintains his innocence.

seems not...

he's not appealing - that's when you frivolously appeal a red card I think
he was pleading not guilty to their charge...
