If you look closely I did put circa 1970 and I reckon ±2 years is well within acceptable margins for the first ever guess the age of the mods prize.CrazyHorse wrote:Honestly, no.Lost Leopard Spot wrote:
You sure?
But 1970 would make me 42 and I'm nothing like that. Not even remotely close.
1972 if you don't mind, turned 40 a couple of months ago.
For my second and third attempts (and gold medal winning entry) I'm guessing TangoDancer is 1939 and Zulus is 1879.
Ok here goes:
Hoboh - age 29 (born 1983)
weight - 82 kg
lives - on planet Hoboh or possibly Levenshulme
sex - very probably male
star sign - Taurus

Probably not "I must compile a list of candidates for a bookmaker, and then mention some names to the press".MasGib wrote:I have always liked Billy Davies in the championship, but not as much in the Premiership.
Di Canio seems a popular choice and I for one would welcome him at the helm, It seems to me that we should also be voting on a new chairman as Gartside is as inept off the field as Coyle is on the training ground.
Two other names mentioned are Bob Bradley and Ray Wilkins???
What the hell is going through Eddie Davies mind?

You are Kent Brockman and I claim my five pounds. Hail Ants!MasGib wrote:Di Canio seems a popular choice and I for one would welcome him
Loyalty to the cause seems to be a big thing with Di Canio so I'm not so sure he would move mid-season.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

At moments like that Coyle seems a good bet. He isn't, just seems like it.

FWIW Coyle is favourite for the Scotland job.
They're dirty, they're filthy, they're never gonna last.

Dear God no.Wandering Willy wrote:FWIW Coyle is favourite for the Scotland job.
It's a much of a muchness in terms of his teams' defending and midfield presence- but we're bad enough as it is.
Re: If Coyle gets the sack
Keith Hill's Barnsley team are smashing Birmingham 5-0 right now. He would be my choice.

I thought of this but the other way round - didn't somebody mention Lee Clark? Anyway, it was Barnsley's first away win in eight months...jmjhb wrote:Keith Hill's Barnsley team are smashing Birmingham 5-0 right now. He would be my choice.

Coyle said.....
I hope so, I really hope so.It could have been very easy for them to feel sorry for themselves, given the outside negativity this week. It hasn’t come from within the club because we know we have good players and that after 46 games we’ll be where we need to be.

Just out of interest, do most of our fans think we should have beaten Birmingham?

In hindsight, aye.. Beforehand, I'd have been happy with a point.

Well we sit proudly mid-table having played 5 teams below us, picking up less than 2 points per game off them, and having picked up 1 point at home, from the two teams we've played above us.boltonboris wrote:In hindsight, aye.. Beforehand, I'd have been happy with a point.
