Anyone realistically think we can go to the stadium of light and come away with a win?
We're not winning this competition. It's a nice chance to test out our reserves but last thing we want is to go and get embarrassed away from home.
Lets be honest, a draw is a good result against a top league team. We got dumped out by Crawley remember...

why are the commentators making such a big deal about how great it would be for us to go to the stadium of light. at Sunderland have relegation to worry about.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

Did I just hear the wankers on the radio say we Bolton will look forward to a payday at the stadium of fecking light!?
Re: FA Cup 2012/2013 - Third Round.
HAHAHAHAHAHA! The commentator: "It'll be a great experience for them [i.e. Bolton] to be at the Stadium Light." Deluded makem cnut.

A throw near their flag... our attack gets pushed back and here they go again. Throw them and..we can do it...we can do it...come on. Four minutes extra. A Petrov shot gets grabbed by the keeper and now they win a throw....Chungy gets a free kick....Davo knocks it out by the flag. Mackems win another corner after a break. Bramble hit the side netting. Come on....
Lonergan fires it long. And again....andf it's all over 2-2. Over and aout.

Got to give our reserves Credit at the end of the day.

2-2 draw. Sunderland probably deserve more than that but they were victims of their own downfall. Not entirely we can see too many positives in this match. Throwing away a 2 goal lead at home can't have done wonders for confidence but that being said we played a Premiership side an drew with them.
Doesn't matter what league you are in, if you're disorganised and prone to errors you're going to struggle.

Why? Are we saving ourselves for the league?Harry Genshaw wrote:A draw means another game we dont want.
Re: FA Cup 2012/2013 - Third Round.
still in the draw so not all bad, Burnley get knocked out with last min goal at Barnsley, Blackburn through after home win against Bristol City, Blackpool draw away at Fulham, City through after win at home to Watford but PNE out after lose at Millwall, Oldham won away at Forest so are through and Wigan drew at home to Bournmouth.
so there is some local derbies there if we can get past the Mackems.
