Zat Knight for Mark Davies? That said it all for me. We have Baptiste, Wheater, Mills, Ream and the midfield and he brings a central defender on for our best creative player. What does that tell the opposition? A: That we don't feel our defence is good enough, and B: We're sticking with the one-goal lead. They bring three strikers on, batter us to death, equalise and we re-enact The Alamo, saved from losing only by time-up. I've never really been a manager basher but "you don't know what you're doing" is beginning to sound totally true.

If tango feels like that then turn out the lights!
I know how you feel but the blame for all this lays fairly and squarely at the door of Chairman Phil, his lousy advisers and his misleading of Eddie Davies by his gift of the gab pretending he knows 'all about football'.
He should be on one of his trains on the way out, one way.

It's clear to me, he isn't right and needs to go.

The most frustrating thing is "why?". How did we get here? I don't expect us to be Barcelona in the Sunday League, or even be stone-cold promotion candidates; every club probably has just the same aims and ambitions as we do. To lose is no disgrace if you're trying/fighting, something Bolton have been famous for all their history. Thanks to our regime since Big Sam went we have a stupefying debt, a one-way slide down two leagues and a bunch of players, loanees and kids who'd hardly recognise each other at a wedding and none of whom are guaranteed a place on the bench let alone in the side. Add a management admin nobody trusts and a manager who can't buy a win and the most rose-tinted of rose-tinters looks more blue than red.jaffka wrote:About you not being a manager basher is what I said about a week ago.TANGODANCER wrote:Zat Knight for Mark Davies?
