That biog also fails to state that Mike Smith is our 'bwfcst' also known as josh8 (or summat like that) who on his own webforum called virtually all fans who aren't a fan of him "idiots".

These tossers: The interim bunch at the apex - they're fxckin me off now. They demand preferred bidder status to buy the club and the fxckwits haven't even set up a bank account yet to take membership fees. Utter fxckwits.

If you step back a little here and gain some perspective, I really think you're demonising the wrong people. Unless you're suggesting they've had some part in the mess we already find ourselves in?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.

I helped my goddaughter set up her first business bank account last week. It took me the good part of half an hour. She's since processed nearly four thousand pounds of payments through in the two days since she 'opened'. How difficult is it to set up a bank account? There are nearly 6,000 members. At a tenner a time, that's £60,000. Not gathering interest. Not being used. And they, the ST, are asking for preferred bidder status. It's beyond a joke.
Edit: What really annoys me is they are operating in our name. And another thing, my expression of interest has been completely ignored. I coulda been hard at work for the tossers.

... and "working towards elections"?
Even Robert Mugabe actually manages to hold elections.
I'll give 'em 48 hours.

It had been mentioned a couple of times before, but was re-iterated in Marc Iles' article earlier today:Bijou Bob wrote:Is this true Spotty? "A bank account is still being set up to allow the first membership fees to be taken, while the steering group is also working towards the first elections."
They're spending far too much time on trying to buy the club, rather than setting up the trust like they were meant to be doing.

^^^ maybe this should have been posted in the "I'd Never Have Guessed That" thread. It's about as surprising as a very unsurprising thing indeed.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Has anyone who went to the meeting / expressed interest etc been communicated with? Has money changed hands yet?
Gut is that its a mix of running before walking and also opportunism...shame they weren't in existence a year or two ago. Its not like things suddenly got bad.

I read the comments section on this article (not usually a great idea with the BN) but the comments were mostly spot-onBruce Rioja wrote:Fromt' BEN.

Re: BW Supporters Trust
It's not that difficult in theory is it? You sign up and pay your monies and get a vote every 5 years or so. Whoever wins the vote runs the club for 5 years. If they're shit, you vote them out.
That'd be nice. Not that it's ever going to happen, like.
