Gotta be Mears.

I hope not. I hope that it's (a) A CB to make room for Dawson / Booby Moore's reincarnation etc, or (b) Andrews as he's now completely surplus to requirements. I really don't think we've got the cover to loan Mears out, but we'll see I suppose.

Brighton's much nearer Gatwick, innit? Never mind. More good transfer work, this, if we can shed Andrews' wages.

Aye, doesn't leave us much cover, though I guess financially it's the one in one out policy we're restricted to.

And Andrews will be on far too much money to act as "cover".

interesting one. not good enough for us in many peoples eyes, but considered good enough by a team who will be in the promotion mix.

having said that I've been disappointed by KA - just expected more than we have seen

Of course Andrews is gonna be a revelation at Brighton and his performances alone will win them promotion. Its just our luck.

I like Andrews, but if he's on too much, get shut. Especially if we're scrabbling to afford the centre-back we so dearly need.

We may no longer be in the era of of having two senior players for every position. Once Moritz and Hall are settled in as more attacking options, I think we'll see Pratley drop deeper if Medo/Spearing are unavailable, with Freedman hoping Gregus and Vela push for chances too.

Does the meeting have to have taken place actually IN Brighton? Of course not. Anyway, at least I got the second on my mini wish list :)

Had almost forgotten about Gregus and Vela in all the excitement. We do seem to have decent depth in most areas right now. Dawson would be icing on the cake.

Well maybe if we've freed up some wages.............

Bit surprised Andrews is one of our top earners, suppose I shouldn't be down to his age and he was signed on a free. Top as in top 5? Top 10? Who else is a top earner at the moment?
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

To be honest I've never really thought Andrews was anything special, He does a simple job, Often very poorly, Better off without him really. Good luck to him at Brighton though, any chance of a fee if they like him? How long has he left on his contract?
It ain't easy, Sleazy even, Deceiving those we, Believe in.
