Is this an argument about whether or not someone exists?

I believe we think they may exist.

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )
Really enjoyed Twitter over the last few days. Had big fun pub arguments over whether football fans are inherently optimistic or pessimistic. He (not a huge fan) days pessimistic because they complain all the time (partly why he fell out of love with the game). I disagree and think part of the reason we complain is because we're optimistic (we think the glory days are around the corner), but impatient.
Seeing stories about how Stu Holden is behind a £400m consortium in these dark days have really me smile.

I read somewhere online that Stu knows this figure that may or may not be involved. The man in question is worth 400 million.

Yes. Consortium with Stelios, Stu Holden, backed by £600m, Michael James as chairman, Hilary Stonefrost as fixer, BSA installed as manager, LSL and Kevin Nolan as assistants, POMO's our way to successive promotions to the Prem with no one ever shooting from outside the box, and in a couple of years from now David Wheater out leaps Virgil Van Dyk to score fromh our only corner to win the FA cup at Wembley, resulting in a foray into Europe. whence the debate on the forums is whether we will need new passports if article50 isn't further extended.

The next big deadline is Thursday 28th March. If we are going to go into administration then we have to do it on or before this date to have the 12 point penalty deducted from this season's total, rather than entering into admin after the 28th and starting next season on -12 points, which will increase the likelihood of more than one season in L1, and £10m+ per season operating losses.
It seems to come down to: Do our major creditors other than KA, trust KA and the mystery rich dude to get this sorted out by the 3rd, or whatever new deadline might emerge from the court hearing on the 3rd if it gets that far?

I thought we were already beyond the season cutoff point. Are you sure you're not mixing it up with some other, now obscure, political date???bristol_Wanderer3 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 24, 2019 2:15 pmThe next big deadline is Thursday 28th March. It's not inevitable that we will go into administration is it? Pay day might make folk twitchy but the takeover can still go ahead without a points deduction in theory can't it?

No, not inevitable. Options basically are:Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Sun Mar 24, 2019 3:23 pmIt's not inevitable that we will go into administration is it? Pay day might make folk twitchy but the takeover can still go ahead without a points deduction in theory can't it?
- Don't go into admin and let the takeover process continue.
- Go into admin on or before 28th (take 12 point hit this season).
- Go into admin after 28th (take 12 point hit next season).
If the takeover process proceeds without admin then we are trusting that KA and mystery rich dude will come an agreement. There is another HMRC winding up hearing on the 3rd April (following on from the two week adjournment on the 20th March), which could result in a winding up order and practically a few days to avoid liquidation, if the judge so decides.

There are all sorts of scenarios that do not lead to points deductions... Including Kenneth still in charge in nine months time having scraped each and every barrel to come up with the necessary on an emergency basis for each and every time somebody has called "foul" (as he has been doing for two years now...).Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Sun Mar 24, 2019 3:23 pmIt's not inevitable that we will go into administration is it?
