Official approach made for Danny Welbeck apparently

This sounds realistic, if he can play on either wing he'd be a replacement for Taylor if he goes to Stoke, is that rumour still alive?

Welbeck also sounds realistic and a good player to have.

Fairly confident you can, but one can only be short term????

Sorry Pru, LLL's right - at least by last season's guidelines. Let's rewind three weeks and 59 pages to the rules...

I thought I'd read somewhere that only applied to season long loans. Oh well. I knew that lot were in here. but no way on earth was I traipsing back 50-odd pages for it!

Wellbeck would be a good option, hes useful left wing and centre forward in a side like ours which needs some movement up top.

What is the chance of Matty Taylor heading to Stoke?

Oh, and please not pissing Wellbeck.

Does anybody really want to be cheering on a player who, after every game, will take pains to say how this is only a chance for him to get experience, and he really wants to feck off back to the Theatre of Shite and nice person around in front of 80000 vile Surrey gobshites every other week?

If you want to do that, Daniel, then please stay there. If you want to join the Wanderers, then there should be some sort of initiation ceremony. A ritual cleansing, if you like.

I can think of several ideas. But the essential point is if he wants to come, he needs to make a complete break with them. Otherwise he's still morally tainted.

To be fair Sturridge did that week in, week out (tho Stamford Bridge, of course) & we seemed to forgive him it.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Indeed.

A huge great difference.

Strurridge did it about Chelsea.

If he's scoring goals for us, I'd cheer him on.
