Anyway, did anyone read The Independent's match report?

A quote by Davies that could be summed up as "Elmander was always angry because he hated Megson screaming in his face all day. Its amazing what not having a shit manager does for confidence."

I think theres only Jussi left not to have joined in, or did I miss that?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Is that true, or are you just winding us up?

In print.

Can't find it online.

If it hasn't been thrown away, I will type it verbatim. Someone had left a copy in the changing rooms, had a quick gander.

That's very close to Elmander's own recent quote about He-Who ... having a coaching style which consisted of screaming at people.

Juusi, read the report on this weeks Supporters Association. He said he wouldn't join in the general abuse but, by the time he did go it was as well as he'd lost it.

I've never heard Cahill, Knight or Robinson or Gardner say anything negative. Though tbf I've never heard them say anything at all ... about anything.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

I was once stood behind Ricardo as he purchased a TV up at the Reebok, and judging from the speed of his speech I'm not surprised that he's never said anything. It made Jamie Carragher seem articulate.

You know between the Carroll arrest and subsequent Odd Couple pairing with Nolan, the Joey Barton right hook, the assaults from Coloccini and Williamson, two penalties, and losing 5-1, I'm wondering if something is starting to unravel in the Newcastle dressing room. Wouldn't be the first time, after the Barton prison sentence and of course this little classic.

I'm sure I've heard Knight ask, possibly once or twice, "Where the feck did he come from?" :D
