Re: Silkmen v Trotters (match thread)
we will mas gary's pace and his ability on the ball. Knight and Wheater ability wise are similiar but David is head and shoulders above - literally in the air - cos he puts himself about and goes in where it hurts. If we could sign a left back Ricketts might be worth another look there with his pace...but not convinced. Gonna be much easier for opposing strikers when he is gone...and it hasnt been hard already...gulp.
As for Klas keep him benched for now but he will get goals for a year or two yet. unlike davies.

Got it in one mate, that's because the former two are complete pants.silkmen07 wrote:Also though you looked a lot better when K Davies and Pratley went off and M Davies and Wash N'Gog came on.

has pratley played in a 451 yet?
Re: Silkmen v Trotters (match thread)
I think so, maybe Arsenal away? It's his best position, and he'll score the odd goal, but he isn't good enough all round, certainly not for our system.

Re: Silkmen v Trotters (match thread)
did he play with mark davies there?
i can see room for him in a 451 with muamba, nige and/or stu but otherwise no. And he isnt as good as mark davies either. Not sure why we chased him for so long particularly given coyles love of the 442.
