Great game for us, Liverpool may have been shit but we still had to beat them. I've read a few comments in the press about Bolton fans keeping faith with Coyle when other teams fans have turned on their manager, I think that its great that we have done ! COYWM!

Aye, but the press always seem to highlight how bad the opposition are rather than us upsetting the apple-cart by effort and good play. Nobody's knocking us, that's for sure, but the headlines today are all Dalgleish rather than OC. It's that old, "we spent 110 million so we have a divine right to win" thing. Me, I'm just happy for Mark Davies and Reo C to be getting the plaudits for a change rather than Stevie Me. Like somebody else said," You can only play what's in front of you". To hell with em all, we beat Liverpool 3-1 and that's an undeniable fact that nobody can take away.

We was to strong for liverpool yesterday, everyone played there part in what was the best performance of the season. Thought we out muscled them in midfield Reo Coker was immense strong in the tackle, Muamba closed them down well and passed it better than normal, has you all know i'm not his biggest fan but i'll give credit to where credit is due. Mark Davies best player on the pitch yet again liverpool couldn't cope with his runs or get a clean tackle in because he is so good dribbling with that ball, head and shoulders above Gerrard who struggled all match. Petrov and Eagles were excellent on the wings, if Eagles would of had his shooting boots on we could of got a 4th goal which would of been a true reflection on the game. Who needs Cahill when we have got wheater, more of the same against Arsenal then we could be looking at another 3 points. Well done lads!

With the amount of unexpected results around from lower clubs this season, it might be seen that the standards are getting better and not that we are total rubbish. Just two wins would have put us in a much healthier position. Bringing in new faces is no guarantee of immediate success, is what I'm saying. Attitude, team spirit and confidence is all important right now and who deserves to be dropped from yesterday's team? Bring em in when we're a bit safer up the table and after a couple of reserve run outs.

Our BIGGEST problems this year have been based around a lack of tactical vision.

The injuries have been a real shame and can't have helped, the weird period of having players sent off every match, the loss of form of SKD & Robbo too, losing Elmander and Sturridge from the squad, the "is-he, isn't he" about Cahill .... but were all out of Coyle's control.

However not moving to 4-4-2, not playing Moo & NRC in the middle and free-rolling Davies were. It's like he's been forced to consider it & lo & behold it works.

Anyway, let's hope it's not a flash in the pan.

Tango was replying to Truewhite 15's comment about Ream and Le Tou as I understood perfectly what The pope was saying. There was no disagreement, just a view as I stated. I could if pushed, reel off a whole load of wonder boys who were going to re-create ourworld by going in the deep end, but didn't. Caution in our present precarious state was my point, not lack of progress for the future. Lord preserve us from another Puygrennier, El Cid or Daniel Bratten and co.

Very pleased with the result, pressed and harried them. They were crap because we made them look crap. Well done OC and getting them fired up and performing, hopefully this formation will be persisted with and we will pick up quite a few more points.
