You mean trying to save the league.BL3 wrote:Why? Are we saving ourselves for the league?Harry Genshaw wrote:A draw means another game we dont want.

So 14 games into Dougie's reign, we're still 'disorganised'? That's worrying.Mar wrote:Doesn't matter what league you are in, if you're disorganised and prone to errors you're going to struggle.

thanks for commentary, better than the Geordies.TANGODANCER wrote:A throw near their flag... our attack gets pushed back and here they go again. Throw them and..we can do it...we can do it...come on. Four minutes extra. A Petrov shot gets grabbed by the keeper and now they win a throw....Chungy gets a free kick....Davo knocks it out by the flag. Mackems win another corner after a break. Bramble hit the side netting. Come on....
Lonergan fires it long. And again....andf it's all over 2-2. Over and aout.

Oh well. Not too disappointed as unlike Sunderlands massive loyal support I got quite a lot done today - walked the dog, bought the wifes birthday present and cleared the garage out.

Don't you know Sunderland are a humongous club? The only more massive clubs in this country are West Ham and Aston Villa. I can't believe how massive they are. This is our cup final.Sponge wrote:HAHAHAHAHAHA! The commentator: "It'll be a great experience for them [i.e. Bolton] to be at the Stadium Light." Deluded makem cnut.

Well, the Sunderland fans wanted a bigger allocation and today their team fought hard to earn that, I bet theyre probably delighted

That's because it was cleared off the line and never given as a goal.Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:Can we ban the arse that told us about the 'úngiven goal' and then refused to say who for

What do you want exactly? Can you put it down in text so when you post again we can have a reference.
Went today.
Lucky not to lose apart from some brilliant stops from Lonerhan.

Can't understand why Petrov got the full 90 mins as he looked like he was hanging out his arse 65 mins in. Game was screaming out for him on the right.

What is the consensus on Sordell? Is it worth giving him a chance or, despite the goal, did he do little to earn that chance?
Re: FA Cup 2012/2013 - Third Round.
Cannot be arsed. Does not want to play for Bolton. Probably gutted he scored for us.SmokinFrazier wrote:What is the consensus on Sordell? Is it worth giving him a chance or, despite the goal, did he do little to earn that chance?

Makes no bones about it, Sunderland send pretty much as strong a side as they could put out, yet for the first hour we could have been out of sight. Play like that in the league and Sunderland will be coming to us again next season. Lets see how many millions they bring when that happens (or indeed in the replay).

Does Lonergan deserve his shot in the league on this performance?

I really enjoyed the game today. A draw was fair overall, I mean now we can look forward to a big payday at their place.....
We had a great first 45 or so, second not so good. Their defence was so poor first half we should've killed the game off then.
I knew as soon as they scored we were going to cock it up though; they should've easily won this game after that.
Left scratching my head with the N'gog/Eagles substitution; seemed a bit random...was it just to cup tie Eagles?

Probably CH, although personally I wouldn't sell him till the end of the season. He's an enigma wrapped in conundrum that boy but I think he's good for the side

He made a couple of top drawer saves and couldn't really do much about either goal, but he didn't control the box very well, and his communication seemed to be on a par with Bogdan and Sooty.TKIZ! wrote:Does Lonergan deserve his shot in the league on this performance?
It should at least put a certain amount of pressure on Bogdan to raise his game.
