The Sun has Bogdan as a Scouser more or less sorted?

According tert Th'oracle;

Adam Bogdan will go to Liverpool. That's Bolton and a couple of others now looking for a keeper.

Been with us since 2007 and, after becoming blossoming into our biggest asset, he goes for feck all in 2015.

Should we have just kept Lonergan?

The amount of quality we've lost on frees in recent years is scary.

They are contesting it.

Dingle fans are really annoyed that their board have just rolled over and accepted it.
Didn't they overspend by like £60 mill? How can they contest that?

If we can get Ben Amos in as his replacement then I, for one, will be a very happy boy. :)

No real surprise if true; if he wanted to sign and stay here he would have done. Frankly it's one of the very few annoyances I've had with Lennon, faffing around waiting for him (and others) to sign. As myself and others have said, hope we're on the phone to Amos and/or apologising to Lonergan.

Well...AN asset. Good shot stopper, with some "worldies" that have won us points but arguably he wasn't much better than Amos or Lonergan. Too true about letting an asset like him go for free though, we either need to start tying people down ahead of their final year or selling them on if they're reluctant to.
I'd argue that he's far, far better than Lonergan. I know this is a pithy argument because there are a lot of variables, but Bogdan looks like he's going to LFC. Lets see where Lonners ends up.

If I scroll through our squad list from last season and imagine them under contract and think of the transfer fee they'd command to move (again, plenty of variables), I can't think of one bigger than Boggers.

We're a fecking mess and I hate it!

I like Boggers, and think he's enough better than Lonners to justify us doing a lot to try to keep him.

But steady on. Let's see if he's "going to LFC" to play, or to take over from the frankly shit Brad Jones sitting on the bench.

I'm steady as it comes. Liverpool ain't plucked plucky Football League Journeyman Lonners to warm their bench have they?

If he goes, then bye bye. I'm not arsed what his role for another team is.

No, but they did pick Brad Jones, who is wank. And spent £9 million quid on a bang average Mignolet. So I'd not be using their judgement to support my case.

And have previously employed Mike Hooper, Pegguy Arphexad, Sander Westerveld, Calamity James, Chris Kirkland, Jerzy Dudek, Bob Bolder and before my time a guy called Tommy Lawrence - known as the Flying Pig. Oh, and they fecked Brad Freidel off as not good enough.

I reckon Daft Dudek was in nets in Turkey one night in 2005 for them and didn't exactly shit his pants.

He conceded 3 in the first half, though.

BN running a story that Bogdan is tight lipped about moving to Liverpool but is hoping to play at the top level and all will be sorted out in a couple of weeks.

He's off then. Bye bye Adam.

Also in the story about overnight speculation about Fofana (sp?) a midfielder from city and real sociedads Alfred finbogson (we like a bog at Bolton hoho!) but his wage demands would be too much.
