And you are saying Jeffren will be cheap? Look main point is selling Taylor BEFORE we have bagged a replacement is a risk too far in our current circumstances. Petrov is also in the last year of his deal and will again be a top earner. Why not sell him as well. And SKD. And Jussi. And Steinsson. Might as well get rid of all those wages on older players......
Cos nobody will touch him with a bargepole

Taylor despite being shit, slow, fat and useless has a value

Odd that
WHO'S GOT A BARGEPOLE

Where is all this stuff about us being in talks with Reo Coker? Can't see anything. Or is it just a re-hash of the Sky/Nixon story from the other day?

So it is true then?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Was on there transfer centre bit this morning, probably is just a re-hash of a story?

They saw the Taylor thing, saw that Reo-Coker was free and came up with this

No. Even SSN - never slow to market - are prefacing the story with "Sky Sources:" which usually means Twitter but in this case the "source" is, as BWFCi correctly guesses, Sunday's papers. So, just the same thing doing the rounds.

Further detail on the Phillips transfer
Whites defender Zat Knight told The Bolton News last month how his close pal was prepared to cut his £80,000-a-week salary to pave the way for a move to the Reebok.

But the two parties are still poles apart, with the 29-year-old winger unwilling to drop below £60,000-a-week while Wanderers only want to pay half his existing wages.

Negotiations have been furthered clouded by Wright-Phillips’ situation at City.

He looked certain to be on his way out at the Etihad Stadium after being frozen out by boss Roberto Mancini last season, but the Italian has been impressed with his attitude since he returned to pre-season training, especially after he started and scored in City’s North America tour opener against Club America on Saturday.

Yeah i suppose! Just getting slightly worried at the moment about size and quality of squad we have and too lose another player whos good back up, isnt great. I would like just to see some signings or something perhaps a bit too early to be nervous but am hoping for a quality season next year!1 COYW
