I enjoyed what was a good game of footy tonight and a fair result imo.

We still look very weak defensively as a unit and in this system we may as well have sold Mark Davies cos we'll never get much from him when he's outnumbered every week. SKD was immense. LCY is getting better each game and I thought Eagles & Andrews were both impressive.

Forest were well organised and passed it about well. They'll have a good season, I'm sure.

I'm sure its not news to anyone but there is no way Coyle is taking us up. A real shame because we are more than capable.
Agreed. Even KD plays consistently better when the ball is played to feet, something we realised around half time. Sure his big strength is..well his strength, but the way he utilises that most effectively is from set plays and purposeful crosses than he can being used as a cheap get out clause for the back four.

I still rate Kevin Davies as a player, alot, just not the effect he has on the rest of OUR team.

Yet more proof Captain Clueless is as clueless as we are saying.

2-1. Bossed the game for 5/10 minutes.
We drop intensity. Time for a change. Even a like for like just to reinstate our desire to win the game.

Naaaahhh. I'll just sit on my arse for 25 minutes and watch us slowly wimper out the game.
The guy is frigging clueless. I won't even go as far as slating the defending Or clear lack of coached game-plan AGAIN.

GET GONE. pal.

What's more annoying is that we couldn't beat them AT HOME and everyone wearing a white shirt on that pitch tonight MAKES MORE THAN A MILLION POUNDS A YEAR.

Yes that's a million pounds, not Yen or Dong.

What a load of bollocks.
"Feckin' shite" - what does that say for Wanderers? Coyle's comments after the game were a feckin disgrace and where have all your supporters gone? Holiday week maybe? Thought I was at Blackburn ....

Isn't that we he did when he took off Sordell for Afobe? Unfortunately, it didn't work and we lost our momentum after that and were less of a threat.

Well done Owen then, eh.
Somebody tell him he has 3 subs please.

I can't. If I ever got close enough to do so, i wouldn't like to say what I'd want to do. Thank god I sit in the East, anyway.

Lot more to be encouraged about in my view, fair few nice moves (59 minutes one-touch stuff was great) and created enough chances. Other than the two goals were the Sordell header at end of first half, MDavies header near post, Sordell which he skied over, a couple of goalmouth scrambles, KDavies skied a sitter at the back post etc.

What was decent was that we had some good spells where it was all us... unlike the Derby game where it was pretty flat until we scored from a corner.

Disappointed by the second Forest goal, typically right after Sordell blew that chance for 3-1.

Also, hard to tell individual incidents from the stands but the refereeing seemed absolutely abysmal, giving little nudges as free kicks all over the place, I thought it was supposed to be more combative in this division!

On another note I worked out on the way home this was the first game I've been able to enjoy without relegation battle nerves since Holden's injury in April 2010.

Ok grumpy owd git's view.

Tonight, we tried. We tried to do some of the things that we were really 2nd division shit at, on Tuesday.

We tried rolling the ball out, we tried playing from the back.

We tried to pass the ball. Didn't always work, but we tried it. We still have a serious problem in the centre of MF - look a both their goals and spot the central MFer closing down their MFer. No one.

Davo, for the second game running, not the worst striker on show. Yes, old, Yes little movement, Yes nods it into space with no players in it. Set up the second goal well.

Said it before and will say it again - if Sordell, N'gog, Afobe want to push him out, they're going to need to step up to the mark and show why.

Eagles was getting plenty of stick round where I was sat, then scored and became the messiah.

I thought Rickett's had a better game than his first two.

Still worried about Mears defensively.

Equation - I can sell Mavies for £6m or play him as a defensive midfielder - I'll take the 6 thanks and look to buy a DF midfielder

I had some trouble justifying the win on Tuesday, but we probably deserved the win tonight. Their goals weren't defensive lapses, they were MF lapses IMO.

Knight was excellent (again)

Not as bad as you! You couldn't even beat Forest at home. Seriously what HAS happened to your support? Or did they all come to watch Man U et al?

Really enjoyed the game tonight. Granted we were dreadful for the first 25 minutes and both their goals may have been prevented in the build up at least (great finishes, by the way) but I almost don't mind missing out on a win when the game is as good as that.

Can't ask much more in terms of effort which was a huge improvement on the last two games and we created more chances tonight and exerted more pressure than in half a dozen games put together last season.

The ref had a bit of a nightmare but if it means our first goal was allowed to stand then so be it. Forest's number 7 wasn't half walking a tightrope though after his booking.

Good crowd on (the official figure at least!) and a cracking atmosphere. No grumbles from me about the fare on offer.
This is the rhythm of Zat Knight

So you're saying you're shite after all? Well that's something we agree on.
And our support is shit, fairy nuff. The Reebok hasn't been full since the Elton John gig 7 years ago. And he managed to slip two easy ones past us that night as well.

Anything else?

Not a bad game in the end. Dire first half, Better in the second. Fair result I thought. Don't know why it is taking us so long to get fired up though.

Coyle can't see it coz he hasn't got a ferkin clue what he's doing.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
