Probably similar reasons to why Darren Pratley was regularly picked ahead of muamba.

Why's that then? Try not to blame Coyle because he hasn't picked the team for the last two games.

You've got me there. For the last two games, it was nothing to do with Owen Coyle.... Maybe an injury or personal reasons?

But for the previous 9 months or so, OC definitely did play a part in splashing out big money on a player and then apparently ostracising him and refusing to pick him.

Would it be rude to tweet him and ask what the craic is?

Nothing ventured, nothing gained! I don't have a Twitter account though.

Davo is in on form at the moment

he is too old to play 46 games so it will be interesting to see how dougie approaches this quandry.

I believe he's a disruptive b'stard & has 'run' the dressing room for the past few years (since Nolan stopped doing at a guess) & any manager who wants to really run the club will need to deal with him head on (& more worryingly, his Mrs.).

Still, what do I know !?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I admit I've only made it to one game this season, but that day Davies was the only one of our forwards who used the ball.

Was this not representative of what's been going on?

It pretty much is representative. It's not Davo's fault that our agricultural defenders see him as an outball.

Absolutely

KD has been head and shoulders our best frontman this season. There seems to be some attempt now at playing it in lower aswell rather than lumping it at his head. If he can get eagles mavis petrov cyl etc in around him he's more than capable of linking things very much like he showed in our purple patch of 2 years back. He's not that mobile but I suspect will show more mobiltiy when he's not too isolated and is can expect better balls coming in.
Phillips has spoken up about condencing play and high lines(makes more sense with ream/ricketts) and this may also help to ensure the ball isnt being launched toward a lonely KDs head from a stupid distance.

I moaned about KD last season but really I find it baffling that people are still moaning this time round.
