From Nixon - Bolton. There is a leader in the race. But no deal just yet. Still waiting on a chunk to be paid as a deposit and used to pay wages, bills

I've often wondered this, when you see other clubs with a range of "suitors". I do understand why not, but it's a shame that interested parties can't get together if the club is their real interest.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Wolves also, allegedly, have attracted 3 or 4 potential buyers...

I wonder if they are the same ones!!! 8)

I'm not surprised there aren't more joint consortia. For some, it's a vanity project; but even if all are humble and in concordance, what happens if they have differing views on, say, selling the hotel or setting a speculative transfer budget?

I'm genuinely surprised when people agree to pump in millions for say a 10% share of a club that doesn't make money (ie any of them outside the big six). "Here's my money; I'll have a very small say which you can ignore."

I'm currently putting together a consortium bid for a piece of work (not for BWFC) - I reckon around 9 months should do it. I would expect the purchase of a football club to take less time, but pulling together 4 sets of interests (where those interests may not all be "Make BWFC No1 in the Premiership") would still be somewhat complex.
