Thats just silly.
Clearly it would be N'roker.

NRC, CYL, soon we'll have three-letter acronyms lined up for everyone on the squad.Lord Kangana wrote:Thats just silly.

But seriously, I can give you the entire Korean national team starting lineup using 33 letters total.

Also Savis is expendable as is Matt Taylor. Muamba is young and English so has saleability. Much as I love him he's a liability in our new style. Pratley and Reo-Coker and even Savis are more suited to partner Holden.
Have always loved Reo-Coker for us as much as I did Wheater. Coker covered right back too didn't he? So could probably cover Lee on the right wing. Similar to what Newcastle do with Barton have him drop in and cover. Gardner could cover left wing. Two starter

If this report is true, then IMO Reo Coker would be a good signing for the right wages (I suspect that we would pay him a signing on fee as a free agent to compensate for the reduction in wages i.e. perhaps £1.5M up front then wages of around £40k a week) and he would add some much needed steel to the side, but with Pratley, Holden, Mark Davies & Muamba for 2 central midfield places in OC's rigid 4-4-2, it may perhaps signal the end for Muamba who IMO is by far the worst footballer of those players.

Can't see why else he'd sign for us, he was rumoured to be asking for £60k / £70k a week to re sign for Villa, and we won't pay those wages - I would say that £40k a week is the max that we would pay Reo Coker so the rest would have to be financed by a payment upfront.
OC may have sweet talked him over the phone by telling him 'come to Bolton' and I'll get you into the England squad etc...but he's a decent player and won't come to us on much reduced wages alone.

According to today's BN Matty Taylor has flown home from the USA to begin talks with Big Sam regarding joining the ex-BWFC players club at Upton Park. A fee of 2.2 million is mentioned.
Then again it is the Bolton News so it's probably all wrong!!

Another forum has someone purporting to be Taylor's brother in law claiming it's a done deal. Taylor wanted to go to Stoke as it's nearer where he lives (plus wifey is preggers) but a 3yr deal with an option for a 4th has swayed it.
Starting to think keveh etc should start hacking mobile phones to get some proper transfer goss.

As long as Coyle has some potential cover planned then I agree with the sentiment. Always liked the lad and looks good on youtube but Martin Petrov in any sort of form would keep him on the bench easily. Even a fit Riccy G would be better on the left 9 times out of 10. I wish Matty the best of luck but 2.2 mil is a good offer for someone constantly in and out of our side and nearing the end of his contract.drummergeek wrote:2.2m for taylor ha ha ha

Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
I'll be very surprised if we get £2.2M for Taylor, surely that's just speculation.
He would be a very effective player at Championship level (IMO he's not good enough for the prem) but anything over £1.5M would be a bonus, but perhaps it reflects the over inflated 'English' market.
If we are to seriously progress as a club we need better players than Taylor in our starting eleven, so again if its true (hopefully) then it must surely mean that OC has better players lined up ?, because the squad is thin on quality especially up front.
If we start the season with KD, Klasnic & Blake upfront we will seriously struggle, we'd have a forward line slower than the cast of 'last of the summer wine'...

if we only have those strikers come the start of the season we would be better off playing with one up front and having an extra cm in the team

I think Taylor's done well for us, but I have to agree 7 figure fee from him now would be pretty good business. I think he'd storm the championship to be honest.
Formerly known as Meg'sEleven. And Owen'sEleven. And Dougie'sEleven. We're getting through them aren't we...

Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
anyone else feel that eaves could be thrown in to the deep end this year? even with another striker either on permanent deal/loan we're still awfully thin up front. season long loan deal with a championship club would be ideal for him.

Who ? Look at the stats and see how many goals Taylor helped create last season. The lad works his socks off and gets nothing but stick on here. Show me a better player for 2.2 million, who's available, doesn't want 40g + a week and of course 'puts a shift in'. Head and shoulders above N Reo-feckin-coker................
