Weren't we saying this last year?
Well when he came in last season he barely had a pre season with us and had hardly played for City.... He looks alot fitter during this preseason

He looked just as good at this stage last year.

It's a good sign but i wouldn't be getting to excited just yet. I'd wait and see till we take on a few higher quality sides. Got to remember the side we are up against here played the night before as well so they aren't exactly fresh.

Muchly prefer Alonso on the left and Robbo on the right. Anything is better than Steinsson.

..and yeah we're actually making effort this time with some great pass and move play and finishing our chances.

He had pretty much a full pre-season with us - officially signed 1st July but the transfer was announced mid-June.

I'd be delighted if Petrov could be consistent through a season, but I'm not holding my breath.

Cringing everytime Robbo has to swap feet to pass it. Surprised Connolly/Wheater didn't get put there instead

Loving all the Muricanisms: Red uniforms, the Bolton, push-offs, all even, one-time touch offs, played back with the head, all good stuff. How dare they claim Muamba's shot was not quality, oh,and I'm sure I heard him call Cahill "Cowheel". :D

Find them a decent side, fast and with a good passing game. Nice to be 3-1 up from taking chances. Come on you Whites, keep it up.

Froma distance all our lot look like they've got video "start" arrows on their chests.

Has Muamba been lending his shoes to Klasnic and Chungy?? Wasting good chances.

Jesus wept...Davies misses an open net from about 5 yards...

We need a decent striker so badly it's unreal.

That's going in the "Missed an absolute sitter" column.
