surely this forum is beyond racism? There are plenty of places I could go to hear gypsies described as "scum" and others as "spastics". I had kind of hoped this was a place where it wasn't tolerated.

OK edited for you flower, though I didn't see any racism.

I apologise for any offence caused - let's get back to discussing who we aren't signing 8)

So, Coyle registering as a player - its like a new signing!
They had this discussion last night on the radio when talking about an alternative to the penalty shoot-out

- they suggested that in the event of a tie afte 5 pens then the managers should take the decider

Just to liven things up, given nowt's happening with transfers, can we have a competition to guess what page this thread will be on when we finally sign somebody. Might be interesting to see the tactics employed by regular posters as the rumour mill predicts signings are close. No prizes need be involved - just the pleasure of taking part - much like how we approach a new Premier League season

You can't cheat, else you'll have someone with their knickers in a twist about it.

I'm going for page 191 - got a good feeling about it

That doesn't count - it was already a done deal back in January. Oh, and if Sean Davis rises from his sick bed to become "like a new signing" - that doesn't count either.

if a "grip" and a "life" involves describing whole ethnic groups as "scum" - then you can keep that "life" - enjoy it!

not really news, but it's back in today's BEN...
WANDERERS have been given the clearest indication yet that Daniel Sturridge could return to the Reebok.

New Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas has admitted for the first time the 21-year-old striker could go out on a season-long loan.

Sturridge was a revelation during his spell at Bolton where he blasted eight goals in 12 games.

And, with Chelsea closing in on Anderlecht striker Romelu Lukaku, Villas-Boas has hinted he could continue his development away from Stamford Bridge.

That would put Owen Coyle – a good friend of the former Porto boss after the pair completed their coaching badges together in Scotland – in pole position to land the England Under-21s star.

But Wanderers will have to wait at least another fortnight to find out whether the player can return.

It should also be beyond childishly grassing up other members of a board, rather than just letting moderators deal with it as they see fit

I can keep that life? I didn't realise I had called any ethnic groups scum. But then again you seem to see things that aren't there all the time.

Beyond racism? I don't know where the lines of racism start and end but surely if you've gone beyond racism you're into the realms of mass genocide and ethnic cleansing? Is describing someone as scum really up there with that? Really?

Seriously, get a grip.
