Err, that's fine and dandy - as a player, I'd just cover the cost either in any transfer fee or in my ongoing salary asks...either way someone other than the agent or player will foot the bill...

then it wouldn't appear as an item in our accounts and we wouldn't have people on here whining about it. job done! :-)

Just as outrageous imo, the players don't pay their own union fees either. The Pfa and Gordon Taylors huge wodge is paid via the tv money

thebish and hoboh in agreement shocker!
Next Putin will be having tea and scones with the Queen.
They'd argue over whether it's pronounced sconns or scohns...

What one Earth are you on about? It's quite clearly pronounced scone.
Careful, lets not set this off again. We had enough argument about the Stone of Scone for years. Lizzie eventually decided to let Scotland win in the end...

Can we not close this bloody down now. All our troubles started when Plymouth started this transfer thread.

It should have been called "If Mr Bean did transfers.... this would be it".

It is but mainly because people keep posting on it. It is like a turd that refuses to be flushed away and keeps floating back up to the top.

Transfer thread, Malc. It's where transfer news goes.

Might be a bit pointless starting a new one.

Someone normally starts a new one when the transfer and loan window closes. I think you are right though, close this one and don't bother in the future. :(
