Re: FA Cup Semi Final - Wembley
coz my mate lives there - he kindly agreed to drive down and flights significantly cheaper than to airports purportedly 'near' London but really many miles awayGary the Enfield wrote:ajwbolton wrote:I'm looking for two kids tickets and two adults if anyone can help - and to plead my case as a reasonably deserving recipient I will add that my sons were both to go to BWFC vs Bayern Munich - one as mascot! However he fell ill and couldn't go at all - so i went with youngest and he was mascot instead..Used to be a season ticket holder but I live in NI now and only get to games 1 or 2 times a year. PM me if anyone feels moved to assist in calming my nerves about tickets... flights booked so at worst i'll be watching it on telly at my mates house in Yorkshire!
Why are you flying to Yorkshire if the game's at Wembley?

Re: FA Cup Semi Final - Wembley
BTW can we not turn TW into a touting website?
Tickets for sale should be sold at face value, no more, and certainly no less.....I keep chuckling at everyone offering to pay face value, like those with will be selling it for less!!
IT is good to make sure everyone has the opportunity etc dont get me wrong, just don't want to become a haven for people trying to rip others off if that happened, which i don't think it has to be fair yet.

Loving the picture of the train they are using to advertise the official train service, get that 1958 feeling all over again!

And I'd also like to think that our long-term contributors will get priority over those simply signing up to get some.*

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Didn't any folk in town trying to sell tickets for Cardiff 2004 at above face value get erm, "reminded" not to do so...

Really looking forward to this game.
Pity I can't make it over

Might seem harsh to folk who are worrying but LK is right
Also posters are going to be more comfortable passing a ticket with their name on on to people they 'know'
Especially as it has the purchasers name on it

I shall withdraw my offer of a bag of Werthers as an ontop incentive.

How do you know its from 1958? spotter?Athers wrote:Loving the picture of the train they are using to advertise the official train service, get that 1958 feeling all over again!

Maybe showing my age, but that's diesel
Hardly 1958
I suspect the significance is that it's the actual train - I'd not trust my expensive stock to football fans

I knew people would say that
- according to this they started using diesels in the 50s.

Spoke to the ticket office as my mate is considering it, £85 for North Lower for 4 games. Not bad but it starts being a bit of an expense purely for Wembley.MJH-12 wrote:How much did that cost him?Lofthouse Lower wrote:my mate just bought a season ticket for the rest of this year to jump the queue for wembley tickets...

yeah i looked into it, no boozing and official stewards in each carriage to make sure you conform. feck right off! were not at school. Who is gonna pay £65 for that when they can just get a temperance coach for half that?P.O.S. wrote:Not exactly 1950's vintage prices though are they?! Fortunately our 4 ST's means we can accommodate two WAG's, who will be designated drivers in return!
