Where did he come from? He's obviously in his 40s or 50s. I stopped travelling to watch us in the 90s and cant remember ever seeing him before.

Frank is a tragic story, and was a good friend of mine many years ago, he was a fitness fanatic, ran marathons in quick time, then something happened in his life which turned him to booze, the rest is history, but please respect the fella for the 1000s he raised for charity, mainly childrens health issues.
Back on thread, my preferred settup would be 5=3=2 with Lonergan... Ricketts..... Dawson..... Ream.... Alonso........ Kamara...... Holden..... LCY....... Sordell...... Ngog.

Don't think I'm taking a cheap shot Caribbean White, I wouldn't want to tread on anyone's toes, but I think you might be missing one.
Unless you're advocating Lonergan as a wingback, in which case I'll go with it!

Re: Watford away
I couldn't help notice it was the turn of 'Barnsley's new manager' to be lauded this week!
Dyche didn't get a mention, an 85th minute equaliser saved him from successive defeats.
McCarthy didn't get a mention either. After two points from five games they had a good win Saturday, but Mick's been in his sick bed all week, so it couldn't have been down to him!
By the way, his name's David Flitcroft.
I wonder who next weeks saviour will be?

Barnsley - 10 points from 12 since the new manager took over (3rd in the current from table over that period)
...and over the last 16 games:
Ipswich - 25 points (6th in the current form table)
Burnley - 23 points (9th in the current form table)
Bolton - 19 points (16th in the current form table)
So stop spouting shite you plum.

Re: Watford away
If i was Dougie's biographer, the last thing i'd be doing at the moment is inviting comparison with how well other managers are doing in comparison...
Re: Watford away
Erm, who's trying to be Dougie's biographer?

We lost against Ipswich cos we weren't good enough top beat themBL3 wrote:If i was Dougie's biographer, the last thing i'd be doing at the moment is inviting comparison with how well other managers are doing in comparison...
If we had been, we'd have a record equal to them
So, if they're doing well, we're hardly doing badly
Where were we in the table when Coyle left - bearing in mind it was with his players, his coaching and his (lack of) pre-season prep
In fact, don't answer, I don't care
I'm still waiting your response to my earlier question, oh fat kit man, you
