Might be worth recanting the BEN scores out of 10 for our luvvies, this season - as voted by the fans. Shocking 2nd top, Players player of the season and he only played half of it for us! When the rest are "reflecting and looking in the mirror," they might want to use one with these scored stuck to it...

The fact the players voted for one of their number who wasn't with them for half the season suggests they sorta know...Worthy4England wrote: ↑Thu May 08, 2025 6:06 pmMight be worth recanting the BEN scores out of 10 for our luvvies, this season - as voted by the fans. Good lord. I think the scores are entirely fair and in some cases very generous. But if you can’t score a 7 you probably as you say need to reflect very hard. If you are below a 5 and have played more than 10 league games you should be looking immediately for alternative employment.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Thu May 08, 2025 6:06 pmMight be worth recanting the BEN scores out of 10 for our luvvies, this season - as voted by the fans. They've looked in it enough times this season - what were they doing fixing their hair gel?Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Thu May 08, 2025 6:14 pmThe fact the players voted for one of their number who wasn't with them for half the season suggests they sorta know...Worthy4England wrote: ↑Thu May 08, 2025 6:06 pmMight be worth recanting the BEN scores out of 10 for our luvvies, this season - as voted by the fans. Aye, I suspect some footballers should spend *less* time looking in a mirror...Worthy4England wrote: ↑Thu May 08, 2025 6:18 pmThey've looked in it enough times this season - what were they doing fixing their hair gel?Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Thu May 08, 2025 6:14 pmThe fact the players voted for one of their number who wasn't with them for half the season suggests they sorta know...Worthy4England wrote: ↑Thu May 08, 2025 6:06 pmMight be worth recanting the BEN scores out of 10 for our luvvies, this season - as voted by the fans. 7 out of 10 over a full season would be a very good score. 7 out of 10 over a full season over a full support base would be a miracle... but let's see this time next year, if we've had a better time of it. But yeah, if you've got below 5, you need to wonder why.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Thu May 08, 2025 6:16 pmGood lord. I think the scores are entirely fair and in some cases very generous. Re: Schu me the way to Amarillo - Summer 2025 Transfer Thread
7 out of 10 as an average across support shouldn’t be hard - it really should not. Not for everyone but I mean nobody managed it. It’s pretty damning of how the support base view these players. It’s more than just a disappointing season I suspect that people generally have had enough of most of these. They have a big repair job on. No good turning up and offering more of the same. We need to see them come back and show fight. Not just sometimes - but every game.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Thu May 08, 2025 6:25 pmAye, I suspect some footballers should spend *less* time looking in a mirror...Worthy4England wrote: ↑Thu May 08, 2025 6:18 pmThey've looked in it enough times this season - what were they doing fixing their hair gel?Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Thu May 08, 2025 6:14 pmThe fact the players voted for one of their number who wasn't with them for half the season suggests they sorta know...Worthy4England wrote: ↑Thu May 08, 2025 6:06 pmMight be worth recanting the BEN scores out of 10 for our luvvies, this season - as voted by the fans. If Morley isn't making a 7 after a good year including part of it away so people can complain, I'm not sure anyone is in a season like this.

Cambridge can't have a massive squad, so that list must include a couple of ball boys and the fella in the tea hut?

This looks like the entire squad released... except Kachunga. Wonder who will be willing to take Dan next.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Thu May 08, 2025 10:39 pmCAMBRIDGE

Sometimes the lists include kids, and sometimes I can’t be arsed to filter them out. But as you ask:irie Cee Bee wrote: ↑Thu May 08, 2025 11:04 pmThis looks like the entire squad released... except Kachunga. Wonder who will be willing to take Dan next.
George Hoddle is a second cousin of Glenn.11 players are under contract for 2025/26, including Elias Kachunga, who triggered an additional year on his deal last season, via an appearance-related clause.
The other remaining under-contract players are as follows: Kell Watts, James Brophy, Korey Smith, Zeno Ibsen Rossi, Ryan Loft, Shayne Lavery, Mamadou Jobe, James Gibbons, Glenn McConnell and George Hoddle.

Reading through the Plymouth forum, I'm not sure Houghton is the profile of player we need in the centre of the park. The consenus from their fans seems to be that he's not good enough for the Championship, and most don't think he'd even start for them at L1 level. They're also describing him as not being athletic or dynamic, so if accurate, it'd be a pass from me.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Thu May 08, 2025 4:37 pmPLYMOUTH, then.
Released: Ben Waine, Saxon Earley, Will Jenkins Davies, Josh Bernard.
Loan expired: Michael Obafemi, Darko Gyabi, Nikola Katic, Muhamed Tijani, Tymoteusz Puchacz.
Out of contract, offered new contract: Jordan Houghton, Mustapha Bundu, Jack Matthews.
Shame about Houghton. Of course we could counter-offer, but he seems settled. We move on...

Same sort of thing we heard about Randall on the Posh forums. They had it pretty accurate, paraphrasing "wouldn't want him in a scrap." Yet here he is.The_Gun wrote: ↑Fri May 09, 2025 10:41 amReading through the Plymouth forum, I'm not sure Houghton is the profile of player we need in the centre of the park. I've read much more positive reports on Houghton, but it matters little if he's staying there. We move on.

Well yon Pilgrims don’t think it’s guaranteed he actually signs the contract, so he may still be in play.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Fri May 09, 2025 11:23 amI've read much more positive reports on Houghton, but it matters little if he's staying there. We move on.
