Ramage was having a medical at Barnsley at half eight tonight, according to the BBC.

We should have signed Peter Raamage when we got Danny Shittu, so second time lucky. Still can't believe we're getting rid of Wheater and then complaining about wages. He's just renegotiated a lesser deal and then we f*ck him off.

I thought the loan window didn't open for 2 weeks? Or is that just from Prem clubs?

We aren't getting rid of Wheater though. Not yet at least.

Latest from Iles: As I understand it, Burnley think they have Kightly on loan, Barnsley think they have got Ramage.

Think he just invented those names to stop himself falling asleep!

I've just had to Google all three of them. Did Youri Djorkaeff really play for us once or did I dream the whole thing up?

Ramage has signed for Barnsley.

I think Iles made these up to keep his deadline day feed going.

Iles says both deals fell through because we had no money to offer up. Both players keen if we could have found the funds.

Stab in the dark by Iles anyhow. They'd have come to us if we'd have had the money? Err, yeah.

To be fair he says he was told by Dougie himself. So that would be a bold claim to make if untrue!
