Re: Brum vs Bolton (League)
I found out that the match isn't on live (in aus)
Then I found out that it wasn't to be shown the next day or during the week. (like it usually is)
So I called the group who runs the channels and got put through to the programmers line and left a message.
It's now on Primetime 8pm Sunday night

Lawro predicts 1-0 to Brum. Not that I really listen to anything he has to offer.
According to his predictions this season, we'd be in 15th place on 29 points. Instead, we're in 7th on 40

Both clubs hoping he's wrong, I imagine... I think it's imp for us to perform well over the next two games, we need confidence, impetus... And we need real performance from midfield... Muamba is a key for the next two, and maybe more...HMX wrote:Lawro predicts 1-0 to Brum. Not that I really listen to anything he has to offer.

Why would Birmingham hope he's wrong?William the White wrote:Both clubs hoping he's wrong, I imagine... I think it's imp for us to perform well over the next two games, we need confidence, impetus... Some team news. Mark Davies out so Cohen likely to play.
Also Coyle confirms he is considering resting Robbo so as to avoid him being banned for the semi final, which I hope he does (but doubt he will).

Re: Brum vs Bolton (League)
Ouch. Really had hoped Mark Davies would be fit for this game. Now this is a game the lads are going to have to really step up.
Re: Brum vs Bolton (League)
Anyone know if you can buy tickets at the gate tomorrow? Didn't think I could make it but now I can (not sure if you can normally pay at turnstile at away games)
Re: Brum vs Bolton (League)
Mark Connolly's in the squad. If he gets a run, good luck to him.
Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I assure you, it's much more serious that that.

Wonder why? Who've we lost as cover?Lofthouse Lower wrote:Connolly just declared on Facebook that he's in the squad.....
Unless of course Robbo ain't in and that means Alonso (defensive cover) is in the starting 11?

That was my first thought....along with one about how I'd like to see Scarlett Johansson with no clothes on

He played really well this week in the reserves and deserves his place on the bench but its a big step up for the lad. It can't be long before Tope and Vella are pushing for a regular spot on the bench too.Lofthouse Lower wrote:Connolly just declared on Facebook that he's in the squad.....

Helps improve the confidence of the reserves seeing their fellow players getting a shot.Salford Trotter wrote:He played really well this week in the reserves and deserves his place on the bench but its a big step up for the lad. Which, if the youth system is working, is exactly as it should be.Salford Trotter wrote: It can't be long before Tope and Vella are pushing for a regular spot on the bench too.

Tope is never ever ever ever even nearly good enough.

Re: Brum vs Bolton (League)
What makes you say that? From what I saw on Tuesday he looked very pacy (he ran their backline ragged) strong, good on the ball, had good awareness and distribution. Now I'm not saying he'd walk into the first team but in Tom Eaves is considered to be nearing the first team squad I'd have Tope before him any day.Prufrock wrote:Tope is never ever ever ever even nearly good enough.
