I think Walters would have needed more than one season, it was 4 years after leaving us after going via Hull, Crewe, Barnsley, Scunthorpe, Wrexham and Chester that he started to do things at Ipswich before moving on to Stoke.
I feel reborn !!!! No more confussion

Indeed. From memory it wasn't Jermaine that was the worry so much as the company he kept.

James Sinclaid looked a good player for the grand total of 16 minutes he played for us!

Carlo Pallavicino, the agent of Parma player Blerim Dzemaili, has told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli the midfielder is close to securing a move to Napoli.

No financial details have yet been spoken of, but the agent is confident the deal will be completed: “We are close to it being official, the deal is practically complete.”

The 25-year-old Swiss international midfielder joined Parma on loan from Torino for season 2009/10 and was signed on a permanent basis at the beginning of last season.

A move to the southern club could see a potential midfield pairing of Dzemaili and fellow Swiss player Gokhan Inler, who is also in talks with the Partenopei.

Pallavicino added: “A pairing of Dzemaili and Inler in the centre of midfield? I am curious to see how Napoli will come to arrange their formation. In theory they can co-exist without any problems.”

Dzemaili played 30 times last season, scoring on one occasion.
napoli will be playing champions league football next season

I know something happened, but what was it exactly?
Lofthouse Lower wrote:I don't know for sure, but rumours were all over that he was released from Blackburn and from us for being caught nicking from his teammates' pockets as they were out training.

Don't know how true it is, but have heard the same story about him from a few different people......
No, he was sacked from Jackburn for that ... we actually signed him after that.

We let him go coz he didn't seem to be breaking through.
We cancelled his contract a year early, because of his grubby little mitts
