Re: Free Travel To Swansea
One idiot claimed that he was pissed off because if meant that more people were now going to Wigan, but only to get the free Swansea travel, that they otherwise wouldn't go to. And for that reason, theyre not proper fansCAPSLOCK wrote:I'd hope he tells them to fcuk offboltonboris wrote:People going mad at Gartside on Twitter.. Apparently, this isn't the way to reward loyal fans...
By the way, why, exactly?
They were though, overlooking the fact that, that was the whole feckin' point of the offer!!

Do they actually think that this is meant to be a reward for loyalty?! Of course it's not, it's a clever marketing ploy. Get one match where we're likely to sell a large number of tickets and offer a temptation to this large amount to go to another game. And it makes people go to both games, not just pick and choose to go to Swansea for the free travel or Wigan for the ease of it.boltonboris wrote:CAPSLOCK wrote:One idiot claimed that he was pissed off because if meant that more people were now going to Wigan, but only to get the free Swansea travel, that they otherwise wouldn't go to. And to be honest, I don't care that it is, I'm just happy that I'm saving £25.

And that, is why we should be applauding our chairman

8:00am this pissing coach leaves the Reebok, I'd probably get an extra hour in bed if the drivers knew how to go over 50mph on a motorway!
Re: Free Travel To Swansea
sleep on the coach then

Picked up coach tickets for me and a mate today, the lad on the till said we're only taking 10 coaches. That's a piss poor attendance considering what the club have put on for us.
Re: Free Travel To Swansea
v poor turn out considering the deal................
However we are shit at the moment. If the team can't be arsed, it's alot to ask the fans for their hard earned for an 8 hour round trip that will no doubt end up in defeat.

If Martin Platz is found beaten up & tied to a lampost in the next few weeks it'll be your fault.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
