Watched MotD8 last night. Newcastle look great going forward but rubbish going backwards.

Easily carved open with a killer pass for the forward to run onto.

We can't give any free kicks away in and around the box, half way line, their box, their goal line or up in the stands.

Hopefully that last minute winner from WBA last night will have their confidence low and our one game unbeaten streak will power us upwards and forever onwards.

Allez les blancs.
I'm not asking you to 'think outside the box' I just wish you'd have a rummage around in it once in a while.

This will be less eventful with a goal either way winning it I think.. Let's keep the momentum :)

So adding a ball playing midfielder to the midfield in place of a striker is less attacking

Bollocks

If you don't have the ball, you may as well play without strikers

Today's BN says the damage is only superficial and he's seeeing a specialist today. Might be better than we think.

He's confirmed it himself, through Twitter, that the specialist has said a month

Can't believe how a player can play like Barry Cowdrill on a Saturday, then like Paulo Maldini the following Tuesday. :conf:

Nice big crowd for this. I couldn't get two tickets next to each other in either the ESL or the WSL. Lofthouse Upper had a few though, right at the back. I'm glad, it's always lovely and quiet up there, hopefully I can get a couple of hours kip in while the games on.

Desperate for a win but I've a feeling we're in for another tonking.

Always good crowds for these games, plenty of tickets being bought as Christmas presents.

Looking forward to it :D

I would, but you wouldn't see it for all the Goths/Emo-kids/Romainians/Peruvian Flute Players.

They're giving out bacon butties to the journalists this morning at Coyle's press conference at Euxton. I'm off to see if I can sneak in; it's only a 60 mile round trip...
