I'm saying it'll be 0-0 after 45mins, after which Owen will do one of his world famous half time team talks and we'll go on to lose the game 35-0.

"After that ninth goal we really did leave ourselves with a mountain to climb, so I took a gamble and threw on another couple of strikers. Irn Bru anyone?"

Man City have a tunnel cam and the post the videos on YouTube. If we're lucky we might get a glimpse of one of those famous half time team talks.

no bwfc striker has scored a goal in 9 hours of premiership football!

maybe we should unleash the striker we bought in jan.

mark davies out as well? please lets have tuncay in his proper position...maybe owen can make up with petrov as well.

We might as well just stay home then. I'm sure they'd accept. Remember Red Star Belgrade?

And the similarities between Crvena Zvezda and the richest Club in the world are what approximately?
They hadn't been beaten on their home ground either till we beat them.

Makes more sense than putting Pratley there for me. No point playing Mavis if it's any kind of risk.Might aswell play Ryo and Petrov out wide as eagles generally bottles it against any half decent team. I'd have thought Ngog would still start but I admire the optimism of anyone using the words unleash and striker in the same sentence especially when it's city away.Tuncay must be made up finally getting a starting place in these games.I suppose Sordell could benefit from watching city's strikers from the halfway line as opposed to the dugout for 90 mins. I'm sure he'll get a couple of chances to fag the ball for them when it descends from the sky and lands erroneously in the city half.

Starting line-up that I would like to see

Bogdan

Steinsson - Weather - Ream - Ricketts

Eagles - Muamba - Reo-Coker - Petrov - Miyaichi

Klasnic

Or, I want to see this. When playing against very top clubs, we have to resort to ugly counter attacks. I mean, make Miyaichi stay upfront, and whenever we get the ball, simply kick the ball at Miyaichi or the space ahead of him, and make the quickest boy run as quick as possible, and see what happens.

Bogdan

Steinsson - Weather - Ream - Ricketts

Eagles -Tuncay - Muamba - Reo-Coker - Petrov

Miyaichi

Alright you've had your fun Ryo now back to training. You and coyle vs sandy and kevo, 5 sets of table tennis in the Barclays premier league. Winner takes all, fine margins and that.

3 wingers on the pitch... Against City(??!!)

Klasnic up top on his own... Against City(??!!)

And then your alternate team.

A 19 year old, lightweight winger up top his own... Against City(??!!)

I can only assume you play too much Football Manager and have never once actually kicked a football in your entire life.

You know, we are very weak at the moment. We have to admit we'll never win midfield battles especially against very top clubs like City. We have to resort to "kick and run counter-attacks" if we want to grab a miraculous victory against City. And, quick wingers are very useful for such kick and run counter-attacks.If we had good enough midfielders, I wouldn't say so. When playing against much stronger teams than us, We have to omit midfield battles when attacking, and we should kick the ball to the quick players staying upfront.

So you'd put an inexperienced small, weak winger up front against Vincent Kompany and Joleon Lescott (who are both quick, strong and tough) and lob long balls into him?

And before you say you'd put them into the channels, they'd eat that up all day.

It doesn't matter who we put out or how they line up. We'll be getting our arses torn open in a 35-0 extravaganza anyway.

I'm going to this game.

Yes, I'd put him upfront.
It seems his 100m record time is around 10.5 secs, which is terribly quick. I assume he is by far the quickest man of all this weekend. Remember, he skinned Ivanović and Cahill with his amazing pace. If Miyaichi stays upfront between Vincent Kompany and Joleon Lescott, he might be able to skin them and score. I don't insist we should play like that at every match but City are too tough for us at the moment, only win by 0-1 is what we can grab. In order to win by 1-0, all of our midfielders focus their efforts on defending instead of going forward , and whenever they get the ball, they should simply kick the long ball into the quickest man staying upfront or kick the long ball toward the space behind Vincent Kompany and Joleon Lescott. I know it's a foolish idea, but we are weak enough to resort to such foolish and ugly football.

Btw, according to Wikipedia, Miyaichi's height is 6ft(183cm), not very small.

 You honestly think he can do something against Lescott and Kompany with only long balls to deal with?

Honestly?

The Best Option

Brangan

Green Stubbs Cahill Riley

Defrietas McAteer Per Frandsen Lee

Okocha

McGinlay

Bench: Hierro, Kelly, Djorkaeff, Gunnlaugsson, Campo, Walker, Worthington (a bench full of cameo's)

If Utd can bring players back why cant we.

All I can say is that, "let's see what happens". At least, it is much better than our midfielders try to go forward and lose the ball, and concede a goal. I remember Miyaichi took a lot of corners for us with his pace. Corners are great opportunities for weaker teams to score.
