Re: Gregg Wylde
Would be nice to have him in the side for Stoke away...
Re: Gregg Wylde
Nope, because the bloody managers/chairmen and tea ladies would be on the phone to FiFA at the top clubs.bobo the clown wrote:Maybe it requires that we pay someone for this to be his/her job. They get all the set-up, contact all the right people ... football, political, meeja etc., etc & then camp on the lawn.
They wouldn't frig about with "top" clubs this way.
Personally I can't see what should be so difficult, Rangers are in administration, he left because if he hadn't then they wouldn't have been able to pay player's wages.
Pfffft.

There is nowt we can do. It's up to FIFA to sort out with Rangers and the player. They need evidence that he left Rangers solely because of their financial predicament.
That's not easy to ascertain, as Rangers haven't shipped all their players out....

Well, then putting on a project manager's hat, then, seeing as we are the one's who give a shit on this matter, someone should be allocated the task of finding out whats needed & then go gathering it.BWFC_Insane wrote:There is nowt we can do. If it can't be done then ascertain that's the case, & why & inform us.
At present we look like a small boy wishing for that bike for his birthday by looking at the bike page in an Argos catalogue and hoping it all comes about.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

We've submitted all the paperwork we can, it's up to FIFA to investigate with Rangers. This is not a run of the mill activity it's unusual. I suspect that with all the will in the world there is nothing we can do to get the legal bods at FIFA to examine the case any quicker.bobo the clown wrote:Well, then putting on a project manager's hat, then, seeing as we are the one's who give a shit on this matter, someone should be allocated the task of finding out whats needed & then go gathering it.BWFC_Insane wrote:There is nowt we can do. Frustrating, I suspect though that we didn't expect much different when we signed him!

Great news. I'm sure this last two months sat around playing Call of Duty and eating pizza has sharpened his match fitness no end.

Aye well if he's getting his clearance we might as well give him a run out, but then if Sordell isn't getting a chance then what hope does he have

Apparently Wilde has been training with the team and been to Dubia with them.

Just to be clear, Bolton are "hoping" he gets his clearance for Saturday. He hasn't got it yet and we've been "hoping" for the past 6 weeks!
Re: Gregg Wylde
Bet he's got more chance of playing than Sordell.
