I like a lot of what Coyle is saying. If he is our long term manager and these are our long term plans, then I have little complaints about the direction of the club. We do need to build a good, young team and then when we come to sell players on, replace them with another young player. It's the only way we can feasibly remain in the Premier League given the spending power of other clubs compared to us. Of course, we have to get there first which will be tricky but I'm optimistic about our future and I'm glad we're going in the right direction.

I haven't figured out what this visionary 'Coyle Project' is yet, but it's produced ugly results so far. I don't see the basis for the loyalty we're showing him. He's all talk. His only (dubious) accomplishment may be to 'detoxify' the BWFC footballing brand. We're now officially a 'nice' club, politely rolling over without so much as a blocked goalkeeper or long throw.

Apologised for being in a rush and as I wished him well on the recovery he said thanks. He said it's likely he'll be out for 7 months and 2 months recovery time. Knight is clearly a talented player. However he does have the odd lapse in concentration. It's hardly surprising seeing how much work the defence had to do last year. Hopefully we'll be spending a lot more time up the other end of the pitch so this won't be much of an issue anymore.
