F*ck off. Bastards. Shitcocks. Bumwank.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Burnley away first game of the season.
Looks like fate has got it in for OC and Burnley, first cup game possibility and we're drawn with them and now this. We had to play them sometime anyway so why not first I suppose.

Their fans will be up for it, but who have they got in the playing staff still from when OC was there?

Yay we're a side note again! BBC has this...
The derby is actually given some significance again lol
The Blackburn v Bolton local derby at Ewood Park has been pencilled in for 28 November

Why has this page got Blackburn Rovers logo on it...
and Lee Grooby's information.
Pretty piss poor from the managers of the website.

Does sky cover Tuesday and Wednesday night games ? Bit disappointed there's no Friday night game, the fixture that stands out to me is Leeds away on New Years day, plenty of hangover and plenty on the drink, something's bound to happen
Re: Fixture Release Date: Monday 18th June
sky/bbc will quite obviously not have picked their televised games yet so every chance one or more of ours could be moved to the friday night or also saturday tea time/sunday lunchRelentless09 wrote:Does sky cover Tuesday and Wednesday night games ? indeed, i could see our opener being picked up by them

UNFORTUNATELY!! UNFORTUNATELY? you win the hands down prize for optimist of the year. Coyle got us relegated that had feck all to do with lowering the age/wage bill it was sheer incompetence on his part and he still believes he was right with all his decisions last season, that should worry the crap out of everyone.Norpig wrote:Expected response! The mess I am referring to is the fact that OC has had his hands tied when it comes to buying the players he would like making do with players we can now afford. BSA and Ginger tosser had money to spend on the team, our very generous benefactor has put a halt on the spending. Which is why the Academy has become a major priority at last, the only way we can now regain and sustain a stay in the top flight is to bring through the kids on a regular basis.Worthy4England wrote:That would be the "mess" that finished 14th in his second season? FA Cup semi finalists? 3 points off finishing 9th? That mess?Norpig wrote:Rome wasn't built in a day the mess we were in when OC took over was always going to take more than a couple of season it took Big Sam 5 years to build a decent team not fighting relegation. Give OC a break!Worthy4England wrote:Not until the end of September.William the White wrote:
Do you think that's likely?
He's a clueless feck.
The only reason we managed to finish in a decent position in his first 2 seasons was the fact that the useless feck loaned the best upcoming midfielder in the land in Wilshire and Sturridge. He then lost Elmander as we could not afford to offer him any more money. He spent the money wisely buying Ngog who had a good season not spectacular but he was robbed of the service from Holden and Chungy. He also bought Sordell and for some unknown reason hardly played him but he does look a good young prospect.
OCs job is to cut the wage bill and reduce the age of the squad which he has successfully done, we unfortunately lost our top flight status but we look in good shape to give a good account of ourselves this season. As far as I can see for a useless feck he has failed on 1 count, not keeping us up which was always a big ask under the circumstances.
The alternative is Leeds, the Sheffields, Postmouth, et al who overstreached their budgets year after year until the imploded. I for one would sooner spend one or two seasons rebuilding in the championship rather than spending 5-10 years rebuilding in the lower leagues. I was there last time this happend to Bolton and believe me they were very dark days. I am optimistic for the season ahead but with football you never know.
Once again give OC a break!!!
A 'nice man' can still be a deluded wanker, just saying like
Once again he should have gone last Oct!

Run in might be interesting - has Wolves, Leicester, Cardiff, Blackpool and Boro in the last 6 games - all there or there abouts last season.
We should be preparing ourselves to say "Well we'd have been great without that really tricky run-in"

Anyone else look at that fixture list and think we can win every single game? I did.
can see this season being a revival of my love for our club and seeing us potentially being top of the table for long periods of the season will be bloody brilliant^^
