Re: Holden
Dont know if this was mentioned:
Owen Coyle would also like to add another younger centre back to his ranks but could wait and see what happens in the loan market.sd Meanwhile, Coyle has confirmed that Stuart Holden has been granted extra time in the States to complete his rehabilitation programme before returning for light training duties at Euxton.
The US international has now started running again nine months after knee surgery on damaged cartilage and though he could be hurried in order to play against Burnley in the opening game of the season, Coyle is happy to adopt a safety-first approach.
“I don’t anticipate Stuart being available for the first few games,” he said.
“Where we are, we could push him to the maximum and have him, but we need to use kid gloves because there are so many games in the Championship.
“He’s over in America just now and he’s comfortable in that environment.
“I would hope not too far into it he’ll be ready to return.”

Re: Holden
As long as he's comfortable eh?
In fairness, he's right. No good chucking him for 3 games and having him out for the next 23. Let's get him COMPLETELY fit (if we can) and get him back to his best.
He's needed. But for the long term.

Re: Holden
If he misses the first five and then is with us for the next 41, im happy, hell even if he misses the first 10 aslong as he gets a through the rest of season and the long time future with very little in terms of fitness problems I'd be happy!

Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED

We're going to have a bad start to the season. -40 goals by mid October.
Coyle will finally get the sack.
Around the same time, Norwich will sack Chris Hughton because they'll be bottom of the Prem with just 2 points.
Coyle will go and manage them and take Holden with him in January.
We'll get Dave Jones in from Sheffield Wednesday, with us having to pay them a cool £6million for the privilege.
ITK.
