I remember that well. I went red for him, it was that embarrassing.

Can't make it tonight, but if you're going Bruce would you do a summary on here of the nights events? Would be interested to hear, though I have my suspicions as to how it'll go.......but you never know!

I'm particularly interested to know if the question about whether BWFC has enough "ambition" for a manager of the stature of Owen Coyle is asked again........

You could ask the manager who he's sent to watch Burnley in the League Cup tonight.

Was that it or was it finished with '..and yet still conceded the most goals from set pieces'?

Whoever asked that clearly didn't go to the friendly on Friday!
Who's that coming up the hill boys,
The Wanderers are coming up the hill boys,
They all laugh at us, they all mock at us,
They all say our days are numbered,

Stupid question of the night went to (and I have to simplify due to the very long winded way it was asked) 'Why do we kick towards the away fans in the second half'.

Not anything said that most of you don't really know about.

In the end went as managed to get out of meeting in Manchester earlier than expected. Decent turn out. Pretty boring questions. Pretty dull answers, but then I guess what can you expect?

More aggressive than previous years, to be fair to Gartside and Coyle they did ok, but Coyle has a habit of not answering anything that could lead to criticism of himself. Seemed to be pretty unhappy with some of the players that left last season.

Said about 15 times that Mark Davies was not for sale, and didn't want to leave. Got the impression he wouldn't fancy a move to Swansea anyhow. But that clearly if a top 6 or whatever club came in for him it might be different.

Gartside got the main blasting of the night. Answered it pretty well and most of the question was bollocks. Lots of questions about tactics that Coyle ducked and dived. Clearly not prepared to admit any fault at all for last season. Which was the main worry from the evening!

Oh and Owen was asked for the coming season what constitutes the minimum acceptable performance and what would be failure. He said promotion was the minimum requirement and not getting promoted would be failure.

Sitting in the North Stand I reckon we must've kicked towards me in the second half about 15 of 19 times last season!
