IMO, things got heated inside the ground when your stewards made complete dicks of themselves (as I said, I was concerned about them before we even got to Bolton). Ejecting our fans for very dubious reasons, and making a huge fuss of a few people standing in the gangway. This quickly blew over.

Then there was when you went 3-2 up, we had over 1000 extremely frustrated City fans in the away end, only for your stewards (again) to try and eject a 60 year old man from his seat for doing absolutely feck all wrong (I was a few seats behind him). They wouldn't give up and insisted he should leave the ground, at that point, our lads jump in and help the poor bloke. If your stewards had judged the situation correctly, they should have known it was only going to lead to trouble. So you have some very frustrated City fans, who then (understandably) turn their frustration into aggression. The stewards eventually buggered off and gave up, only for the man to walk out anyway :conf: Gestures were exchanged with your lot closest to us, and again, that was the end of that.

Final whistle blows, we exit the stand only to find a few of your daft lot waiting right outside our gates for us. What a silly thing to do, right? When the Bolton few realized there were more fans than they anticipated walking directly towards them, they pegged it.

Try here: wanderersways.com You may get a different perspective on what happened.
But i know what happened?

Anyway, didn't come here to post that and cause any shit... Look forward to your visit to Bristol ;)

The first part of your post. You then state 'as far as I'm aware' which tells me you may THINK you know what happened, in your locale, but not what took place a mere 500 yards away AFTER the game.

As I say, try the cyberwarrior stuff elsewhere. You may see the bigger picture.

They all say our days are numbered,

Very odd. A perfectly reasonable guy, apparently, who then goes on the defend thuggery and violence because they didn't like something the stewards did; spouts that 'our hard men were harder than your hard men'; and finally moans that everywhere they go there are unfounded allegations about them.

Sometimes the answers are within, Grasshopper.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I was no way involved in the violence last saturday, all I did yesterday was pop on here and state what I saw happen? I wasn't having a pop at you lot at all.

Your support is piss poor considering how few other clubs there are in your catchment area. Perhaps they all prefer rugby.

Highest number of clubs per capita than anywhere else in Europe, the North West. Also includes the biggest club in the world.. The richest club in the world and the most succesful team in English football history.

Actually it was one of our chaps that said Bristol's support was poor given the catchment area, Boris. These multiquotes are confusing. Where's the button?

Mike

Brizzle 'did' Bolton, but if you're looking to brag about smashing up a family pub, then you're clearly about 12.

Many moons ago, when we played in town, maybe you'd have gotten some retaliation but certainly not up near the Reebok.

Come to think of it - if you're a hard man - why not just go in town anyway?!
Troll and proud of it.
