Seen outside the ES before the Charltom match ....

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: Holden back in full training
Had a brief chat with him yesterday while he was giving my 14week old daughter a cuddle (hit a great pic, don't know how to upload it). 3 things: 1) what a genuinely nice bloke. 2) He's playing 45 mins against Bury in a reserve game on Monday night. 3) His missus is absolutely, rip-roaringly smoking hot.

a). Good point, he seriously did appear to a nice guy. I suspect a little hyper-active.
b). Good news
c). Damn, I missed her.
d). (I know, I thought I'd add it) ... He's bloody tiny.

I've always really liked Holden. He comes across as one of the nicest people you could want to meet, which you can't say often in football. Hopefully his recovery continues and he can fulfill his potential as a player.

I walked past them both in Manchester but didn't realise it was Holden 'til I was pretty much past them.
Sorry Stu.

Re: Holden back in full training
I read somewhere he's doing 45 mins tonight. Be interesting to see how he comes through that. Step one on the real way back?

He told that he knew it wasn't right when he came back for the Villa game in the league cup. "I was playing with pain. Even in training, but I didn't want to miss out in anymore" he said.
Reckons he feels 100% now, but he would say that. Regardless.

STUART Holden is on course for a first-team return within a month to boost Wanderers, according to boss Dougie Freedman.
The American midfielder ended a 15-month injury nightmare by playing for more than an hour in a behind-closeddoors indoor game against Wigan last week and came through with no reaction to his knee.
Now Freedman hopes to squeeze in a handful of other friendly outings for the US international so he can get him back involved with the first team by the end of January.
Freedman revealed: “We could have played a Premier League development squad today but it is hard because of sides playing so many games at this time of year and young players not being around
“We had an indoor game last week against Wigan in which Stuart played 60- 70 minutes. He played very well and came through it.
“He probably needs another two or three behind-closeddoors games but hopefully he will be ready by the middle of January.
“It is difficult but we are doing our best to squeeze games in.
“The plan is that he is back by the end of the month and then I don’t have to go and get a central midfielder in.”
With Holden and Mark Davies due back early in the new year, Freedman hopes they will be key figures as he looks to shape his own squad at the Reebok.

Who's that coming up the hill boys,
The Wanderers are coming up the hill boys,
They all laugh at us, they all mock at us,
They all say our days are numbered,
Born to be a Wanderer, victorious are we....

God I hope so... This shower needs an emotional talisman.
Re: Holden back in full training
So if he's back for February, who's out?
Maybe he's the guy to form the tip of the triangle ahead of Spearing 'n Andrews?
