Don't agree with that. He has his limitations but disregarding his engine and workrate and athletic abilities is wrong IMO.

I think he's useful in our squad. To be honest he's one of our players who doesn't go hiding and rolls his sleeves up when necessary. That is an important quality.

Not the most talented for sure but not 'fecking shit' IMO at all.

Engine is I guess the ability to cover ground. By workrate I meant his attitude to do so.

If you have a six litre Bentley parked on the drive, it's got a six litre engine that isn't doing any work.

He runs around aimlessly. That is not a positive. He gets paid about a million pound a year (got a payrise after we for relegated for making 20 appearances or something) and the guy traps the ball further than he can kick it. He's got feck* trampolines on his feet.

There was a Cruyff-like turn, away at Charlton, that I will always remember, and love him for. He's a bit toss is Darren, but he genuinely makes me smile, so f*ck it!

The thing is that every team needs a grafter in the middle, someone who is going to run for hours and with Holden and Mavies injured we just don't have that so we need Pratley. Apart from anything I really like Pratley and actually think he is one of our better midfielders.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

I LOVE Darren Pratley. I'm like a proud mum when it goes right for him...went right for him that once....whatever.
