Seems Dougie's got a plan. He's told N'gog and Beckford they have to start scoring.

Must be plan C.TANGODANCER wrote:Seems Dougie's got a plan. He's told N'gog and Beckford they have to start scoring.
Re: Blackpool v Bolton Wanderers
Then why the hell did Beckford not communicate this to ChrisC in the Trafford Centre so he could set our minds at ease earlier. Maybe he thought Chris was a Blackpool scout and didn't want to give away the element of surprise.TANGODANCER wrote:Seems Dougie's got a plan. He's told N'gog and Beckford they have to start scoring.
It's getting a bit like having Baldrick as manager now. 'Lennie? I.... have a cunning plan!'

Pro's do talk to trusted friends when things aren't going right. Footballers are quite bolshie bas*ards as well.LeverEnd wrote:Then why the hell did Beckford not communicate this to ChrisC in the Trafford Centre so he could set our minds at ease earlier. However to expect Beckford to start divulging problems to an unknown in a public place is just crazy.

I didn't. Was just my little joke based on TD's revelation of Dougie's rather simplistic plan.jaffka wrote:Pro's do talk to trusted friends when things aren't going right. Re: Blackpool v Bolton Wanderers
Let's talk about Blackpool. It's now less than twenty four hours away till that horrible empty feeling in the gut when we get scored against (regularly) or the sheer euphoria of us scoring and being in front (rarely/not so often/never?) . We did actually have chances to be three or four in front if converting them had been a taught skill on Saturday, so due to our new plan C, whereby strikers actually score, a revival starts tomorrow. The Whites fans singing "Oh we do like to be beside the seaside" at the final whistle will be something to really look forward to.
This is IT....the one...the turning point....it starts here....I think, hope,,,believe...

is that some kind of euphemistic come-on or is that I have just drunk a glass too much of that lovely merlot?Barefoot Wanderer wrote:Is the pleasure beach open?89bwfc89 wrote:Just picked up tickets for this one

We'll lose.
4 - 1.
Apparently I've paid £1 more for a posh seat (if you can really call any seat in Blackpool posh).

Re: Blackpool v Bolton Wanderers
Three of our last four games against this lot have finished 2-2 with the other ending 4-3 so we can expect goals - just don't expect any of them from Ngog!
Speaking of Ngog; has he ever scored a header for us? Considering his considerable height, its worth pointing out that he rarely seems to win a header. Where is he at corners? He doesn't put himself about enough. Owing to his size, he should score more headers. Either he's got no positional awareness, no sense of anticipation, doesn't put himself about enough - or all three.
Anyway, I honestly can't see us getting anything from this. Heads will drop after they score their first and we'll get tonked 3-0.

It wouldn't be hard to pick out if he had... there's only 12 goals to choose from out of 75 appearances in our shirt.Jugs wrote:Three of our last four games against this lot have finished 2-2 with the other ending 4-3 so we can expect goals - just don't expect any of them from Ngog!

Looking forward to this one.......as long as I don't have the seat next to Fat Frank and his half wit entourage.

I've got a really good feeling about this. I don't know call it fate, call it hope, call it love, call it what you wnat - perhaps it's the sun streaaming through the window as I look across the rooftops of Glasgow toward Ayrshire but I honestly believe that tonight is the night when it all comes together.
Casting off the shackles of the season so far the Supers will turn on the style. N'gog, Beckford firing home two each, Baptiste with another. Midfield flowing like a machine and a defence imperious in front of a majestic Lonergan.
One, Two, One, Two, Three, One, two, three, four.
FIVE NIL!
Freedman sacked in the morning.

I'm not asking you to 'think outside the box' I just wish you'd have a rummage around in it once in a while.
