Charles Breakspear will take charge of Wanderers’ clash with Ipswich Town this weekend.

A relatively fresh face in the professional game having been first installed as an official in August 2012, the Surrey based referee has officiated 16 games so far this term across League One, League Two and various cup competitions.

Having brandished 66 yellows and six red cards in the process, Breakspear oversaw Portsmouth’s 1-0 win at Wycombe last time out.

So that's 4.125 yellows a game and a red in every 2.67 games. Has he reffed Blackpool or summat? :conf:
Here you go... Image

Somebody's going to get carded that's for sure.
I wonder if he's related to Nicholas Breakspear, England's only pope?

Oh brilliant - it's his biggest game ever and his first ever in front of a decent crowd. So the occasion has no chance of getting to him then?! :|

The cargo is unimportant.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Going to Ipswich, however I am going to see about having a drink with you(Bruce) before the game as I spent halve of last season going to games on my own and not speaking to anybody and its not half as much fun.

Man crush ??
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I don't know Bobo, not sure you can have a man crush on somebody you have never met before. Anyhow why are you making such suggestions?

0-2 defeat. Dougie & BWFC I see the positives and declare us 'almost there'
Went there for the first time last season when we lost 1-0 and distinctly remember one of said simpletons goading the Bolton fans when they scored... and he was wearing a united shirt!

One of the few games I've managed to get to this season was the home fixture against this lot - they came for a draw and got it, turgid affair. I'm going for 1-1 again - McGoldrick for them and for us... In fact let me revise that prediction, same as last year, 1-0 to them :s

Who is going?

I'm tempted, but would be solo which I've never done before. Might not bother!
