Well yes you can, but should you?
I know logic won't support it, but at games like these I still wish we had Kevin Cyril up there at the sharp end...

A forum member (who's name slips my mind) partially lost the sight in his eye at Molinuex about 15 years ago, it a bit like Tranmere of Burnley. Many stories have been told by Wanderers who have had bad experiences there.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

Burnley stuck to the same 11 and the same formation for as much as they could last year. They built momentum, consistency. We change from game to game - too often in my opinion - and over complicate matters.

One of my ex gf years ago once said;
"Kiss me where it smells"
So I drove her to Wolverhampton.

If we try to defend we invariably concede 2 or 3. If we have a go we'll probably concede 2 or 3 anyway, but at least we might score a couple.

Hate to be negative (but I will be anyway), cant see anything but a 2-0/3-0 loss today, DF has already said he wont play Mavies and he'll revert to 1 upfront until 20 mins from the end when he'll make the same changes as he usually does :(

Well, I've had a walk around and I'm not feeling the shithole vibe. More than that I've found the locals a friendly enough bunch.

Also stumbled upon a Whetherspoons, who'd a thought it!

Just been watching a video of the infamous McGinlay/Kelly incident (courtesy of BN website). If you watch the replay of the incident, it seems clear Kelly pushes JM in the face first. Sure, it's a wussy push compared to Super John's response but, it is a 'raising of hands'. So, despite all the flack the ref got, I reckon he decided he'd rather book both than send both off.

(One other point, if you watch it, note how Kelly shakes JM's hand and they are called aside by the ref - either he's very forgiving or he's acknowledging it was six of one, half-a-dozen of the other).

Parry and Greaves, judge, jury and executioners. If Greavsie was so right about raising arms, what did he call Kelly's part? McGinlay was wrong, but it was retaliation not assault.

I do remember seeing it and Kelly's part in it .... and his chucking himself down like he'd been punched by Tysoe and thinking "oh dear". I really expected one, if not two, red cards.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

I'm thinking it was shrewd work by the ref. He obviously saw the whole thing and realised it was two reds, none or a riot. At the time I was howling blue murder at Kelly, but that's only because we're the one and only Wanderers. Well done ref.

The one and only ones are they
Over the hills and far away.

Oe'r the hills the sky is blue
Four five one or four four two
Dougie commands and they obey...
Over the hills and far away.....

Have only just noticed how goal-free Wolves games have been: 7 played, 7 scored, 3 conceded - strongest defence in the division. (Blackburn's 7 games have featured 27 goals.) We've scored 7 too, but we've conceded 12. Oopsie!
