Don't queer London types refer to a bit of a breeze as being a hurricane?Lennon'sEleven wrote:I'll almost certainly head to this, if work allows. I'll keep an eye out for plans on here.
Isn't there supposed to be a "hurricane"?

Charlton Pre-Match interview.
Not much given away there...

I had Charlton down for the play-offs at the start of the year. Nothing has changed my opinion on that front. A very decent team this year and this game will be tougher than Brum.
But now we have Lennon, you never know what can happen

Their top scorer is out apparently.

Have to say, I'm fecking loving the cut of the Lennon gib.
Expectations are there to be met, not to be shied away from behind the 'unrealistic' tab.
Go on, my son!

He'll do for me at the moment. Loving the "we" chatter, enthusiasm and looking forward to the game tomorrow night.
4 points out of a possible 6 would be good, 6 would be better

What on earth is a "true" miracle?!
As any rational person knows, there are no such things as miracles. Nor does the bish exist, other than to those with blind faith.
Back in the real world, there's no way we'll win tonight. Bit of rose tinting going on iro Saturday. I'll take a point, but expect a narrow defeat. Dooooooomed!

Hi guys,
Safe travels down here!
We're without our top scorer (and August Championship POTM) tonight, that's a huge loss. When he wasn't scoring he was bringing others in to play. We look half the team without him. We look threadbare already due to injuries (unacceptable from the clubs point of view) already and we are crying out for a loan striker.
We are excellent defensively with two summer signings in Tal Ben Haim and Andre Bikey at centre half. They have been a cut above with Ben Haim reading the game so well and Bikey being a man mountain. However, we are struggling to create at the minute. The passing game that we play isn't quite clicking.
We were also dire on Saturday which meant we lost our first game of the season which is a shame, hopefully we can improve on the "performance" that I witnessed down in Bournemouth.
Still, we are unbeaten at home this season so it should be a good game? First goal will be crucial, I think it will be 1-0 ... I'm just not sure who to!
Anyone to look out for who is particularly dangerous in your side?
