Dropped - hasn't scored in a while - we're recalling Beckford. I'm guessing having a rest.Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:Where's Mills?

Good job I know you're joking
Re: "A black ram is tupping your white ewe". Derby (A)
Vela dropped to RB. Moxey up top??
Trotter is the anti-Muamba.

Might not be Vela at RB. Back three of Doreen/Wheater/Ream; Feeney and Moxey wing backs; Trotter, Vela and Bannan central, the latter possibly floating left or forward as the new Chungy (although I'm not sure Chungy played in a team utilising a back three?)

Moxey and Ream linked up well on the left last week, I thought. Disappointed to see Trotter get a start but hey ho. He must be something else at Euxton.
May the bridges I burn light your way

Or it could be Vela-Doreen-Wheats-Ream / Feeney-Trots-Bannan-Moxey, but that looks a bit light in central midfield to me. Other (4-4-2) option would be a back four of Doreen, Wheater, Ream and Moxey; someone's gonna be out of position but it would make for a stronger midfield of Feeney-Vela-Trots-Bannan.
I like that the same players can play different formations - and Bannan should add to that, being a No.10 or left-winger - but I'd stick to the back three here; it was nice and fluid on Wednesday.

Sore knee after Wednesday according to Lennon as he "hasn't run about that much in a while"!Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:Where's Mills?
Looks like the same shape as Weds. Trotter for Danns (hooray) Bannan for Eidur and ALF for Mills.

Know what you mean but isn't that a case for more rotation? I wouldn't throw them all in straight away but I think he'll do it in stages to avoid disruption, starting with the most promising (Bannan). There's what, five Lennon signings on the bench?Worthy4England wrote:To be honest - I'd look for him to play the team he thinks he's going to run with (injuries notwithstanding) - We don't get much of a break in February.

I read that the wrong way round and thought Trotter was part of a back 3
