Apologies for the puerile thread title, but it's the mood I'm in at the moment (football, not real life). Every game, I think the law of averages dictates that we'll win, but it ain't happening! Who knows: maybe we'll smash 'em 6-0; however, I suspect it'll be "away win".

If this one really is on TV I might have to watch it. Found something else to do for the Brentford game but I'd have to try harder to find an excuse this time. At least there'll be some gallows humour.

What are the differences between the end of last season and now? There's the obvious ALF and also Mills leaving. Talking of mental weakness/leaders, Mills was certainly looking like a leader in those behind-the-scenes YouTube videos.

BTW, is White really a RB? I think he played there when I saw him and I thought he did well but as a CB playing out-of-position. Not sure how I feel if he's actually a RB :D

We were dreadful at the end of last season too. So no difference. Our last away win was at Cardiff mainly thanks to Craig Davies. And Lennon thought Madine the better option...

After seeing the debacle at Rotherham, especially second half (I don't want to see Dervite ever again!!) this is an easy away win 0-3

There's a genuine possibility that this could be my last ever game watching bwfc as bwfc. So that's nice.

With respect, might you be getting confused with Oscar Threlkeld, who seems to be a CB tried out at RB? White arrived as a right-back having previously been a winger, and the unkind might say he's still better at sprinting than tackling....

Great game against Blackburn on Boxing Day last year. We went into it with the dream that we were on the verge of something big happening. What a contrast this time around!

Ahh. Maybe I thought he looks more like a CB than a RB... or a winger. On the development game I saw he was definitely being egged on by the coaching staff when taking on their big lump up top, which backs up what you say.

Amos is the second best goalkeeper in the Championship (according to the Times) with 78 saves, just 10 saves behind the leader Button for Brentford.

does making the most saves indicate bestness of goalie - or shabbiness of team?
