Thanks. And I apologise for being overcome by the muse of Uddersfield. Sorry. Won't happen again.

And you don't seem to be able to comprehend that you got as many as you asked for, so wind your neck in.
May the bridges I burn light your way

Well, thanks for your help & all that but £10k or so isn't going to do f'call to our plight right now. Plus, as Bruce says, you are offered blocks and will be responsible for funding all you take. So it's not a matter of an extra one per request.
Maybe that's a bit beyond you.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

All that waffle and you were making it up all along.Smithfield Building wrote:I know finances and accountancy aren't the strongest points in and about your club at the moment, but didn't think this would be too complex.Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:Hang on. You said 10-15k and now it's 25k. You're making it up as you go aren't you
The £10-15k I referred to was in reference to bucket collections; all cash going to club, so obviously net after costs..
I then said 'change out of £25k' which makes the £25k gross and 'your change' net after the costs (you know where I said stewards etc...)
1000 fans paying £25 is £25k. I made a rough guess of £10-15k costs (which it would be nowhere near) but to emphasise it's still a lot of money being missed out on by your club for doing feck all and making excuses as to why more tickets/pay on the day couldn't be arranged.
Judging by the indifference here it also seems like you lot couldn't give a shiny shite about some extra revenue coming your way either. Up shit creek and giving away your paddles.
Bolton Business Sense.
I shan't moan anymore. Good luck with your plight.
You make a lot of assumptions with nothing to back them up with, so you might want to wind yer neck in when casting aspersions on our abilities

Am I supposed to have prior knowledge as to the BWFC match day cost breakdown and P&L before putting a guess in that you'd make some extra coinage off an extra 1k punters paying £25? Jesus you are a moron.Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:All that waffle and you were making it up all along.Smithfield Building wrote:I know finances and accountancy aren't the strongest points in and about your club at the moment, but didn't think this would be too complex.Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:Hang on. If a club can't get any profit out of £25k gross ticket sales then match day operations should be handed over to someone else as someone's doing something seriously wrong. I'm sorry if you see that as aspersions on BWFC but bottom line is if more tickets/pay on day had been made available - regardless of result today or this thread or anything - BWFC would have had some extra money. Which is sad on all parts really.
Anyways, cheerio. Say hi to Sadford.

^^ No. No you're not.
So keep your ill-founded opinions to yourself then.

You said you made a rough guess and you say you have no knowledge of costs. So you are making it up. You're moaning about something you admit to having no knowledge about. Think about that for a moment...Smithfield Building wrote:Am I supposed to have prior knowledge as to the BWFC match day cost breakdown and P&L before putting a guess in that you'd make some extra coinage off an extra 1k punters paying £25? Anyway, well done your lot for the win. Pretty much what I expected and suspect much of our support did.

hmmm... only if we accept you were bringing significantly more than the 2,200 we allocated to you in the first place... I see no evidence that you were... you didn't last time - or the time before.

Aprpo of nowt if Constable Dimblebey isn't in the ground I don't think there's any cost.. certainly the case in LondonAbdoulaye's Twin wrote:You may also find the additional policing costs more than your average minimum wage worker. Maybe the police want paying up front for the extra policing given our difficulties in paying out at the moment. Either way, there is little point whinging on here about it...
Dear Old Ken Bates worked this out with the Met years ago hence stewarding as we see it now..
Argument being.. You're already responsible for Policing public areas.. Carry On .. I'll pay for any deployed in the ground it being a private place.
By the way I'm giving out Yellow jackets ao we won't be wanting anyone in the ground unless we call...
Are we in League 2 yet - Three seasons and we'll be away to Chesham
